Carlos Perea drives in the go-ahead run in the fifth. Feels like an offensive explosion with four runs. Now Walker sends one to center field. Tionosio moves to his right a few steps and we’ll wait for it to come down. And that’s the final out of the inning. But the Astro Oh yeah, he got the call at the top of the zone. And now King needs help from Aras to get a shut out eight. And he does. Aras to Pñena on the fieldielder’s choice getting Logan O’Happy for the final out of the inning. There goes Cam and he’s picked off the throw by the new first baseman and Zack Neto cut in front of Chris Taylor who was on the bag and Neto didn’t make the play and he tries to check his swing and goes too far. That’ll be a strike out for Burke. Pñena out on three pitches and there’s two and line drive base hit. Cam Smith had to skip over that bullet and he will score. RBI for Alvarez and the Astros now lead it by three. It’s six to three. Was a scoring position all home stand until today. Alt pins for a two-run home run. It’s gone. Jos Altuve gives the Astros a fiveun lead. It’s now eight to three to tie with an RBI single with two outs in the fifth. His only hit in this game as he sends one to right and flies out for the final out. But a big inning for the Astros and today they have six hits in one game in 15 at bats. Swinging a miss. Kimell gets trout for the first out of the ninth. Oh yeah, dropped that one on the plate for a called third. Kimbell with his second strike out of the inning. towards short. Pñena will charge and make the throw. That’ll do it. Astros win it 8-3. Astros splitting this four game series against the Angels and they are now four and three on the home stand and lead Seattle by two and a half in the AL

  2. now that garcia and javier are back they have a few weeks to build up their strength and pitch counts. now it would hunter brown, framber valdez, Cristian Javier and Luis garcia as starters with Spencer arrighetti, Lance mccullers jr, Jason Alexander, Bryan King, Kyle ort, Bryan abreu and of course Josh hader in some combination for the bullpen. Jake Myers coming back too and alvarez is getting comfortable all this hopefully = another world series run!!
