Taylor Ward Suffers SCARY Injury After Collision in Houston 😳
already been working there. Here is Raone Orias as he hammers one to left field. It’s Taylor Ward back near the wall and he runs right into the fence and he is caught. He’s waving out trainer right away. Yeah, he went head first into that wall in left field and you can see the blood forming. He needs a towel. Chaffing coming out of the bullpen right away to help close that cut. Taylor Ward went head first into that wall in left field. remember that happened to him at the big A also. Well, you have that corner and then it breaks out into the warning track out there in left center field. So, he might have just not been aware of how close he was to the actual wall. It’s a double for Urias and Taylor Ward. He was cut immediately to right into that wall. [Music] see right on the top of the right eyebrow it looked like as he went head first into that wall in left field and that blood was starting to gush immediately. He needed the towel from the bullpen trying to make it a credible play. All momentum going into the wall mentioned that’s I think it’s maybe the second or third time now Taylor Ward has ran into the at the big A that time in the right field. It was easy to not know where that wall is with how close it is. Plus that angle in the left center field. You know that’s where he was playing initially and that ball kind of took him more toward the wall. So the Angels just trying to close that cut right now. keep the blood from continuing to gush out the way that it had been. A scary moment for Taylor Ward. And you got to think now because if Lugo’s out of the game as far as who they’re going to put in the outfield more than likely for Taylor. Well, you’re looking at him. It was It’s probably Reneo. The Angels have Kavadus and Oh, hoppy on their bench along with Christian Moore. So just hoping Taylor is okay. He’s had an incredible season. Ranifo could play left field and Moore would go into second base if Ward can’t continue here. And the only reason it looks like he wouldn’t be able to is because of the blood there. You worry about concussions too with the head taking some of the contact there. And looks like they’re going to bring out a card. You see Taylor Ward still covering the top of his eyebrow and the bottom of his forehead there as he ran into the wall in left field. And you know, you worry about concussions. You also think about the facial injury that he suffered in Toronto a couple of years ago when he was hit by Alec Manoa. Taylor Ward has had some trauma on the baseball field as it is with regard to head and face injuries and certainly a lot of concern for Taylor right now. Well, Luis Renifo will make his way to left field and Christian Moore will take over at second base. And certainly the concern surrounds Taylor Ward at the moment. He’s praying for him there. That’s He went full force into the wall. Full force. and you went head first into that wall in left field. It looked like he got hit on the padded part and not quite where the out of town scoreboard is, but that wall in left field it being so close to play and just kind of sneaks up on the outfielders here as the Astros fans give Ward a hand as he gets carded off here. [Applause] that cart with Taylor Ward kind of just draped on the back of it, taking its time to make its way back around to the right field corner. and we’ll get Taylor Ward the proper medical attention once he gets inside and see what the next steps are there. It looked like that cut was a pretty large wound and spot too. You know, if you follow boxing at all, you you know that the eyebrows can be a sensitive place for a boxer to get hit. You know, they cut easily and it seemed like he took that right on the top of the eyebrow which allowed that cut to form pretty quickly. Eric Mson on the cart with Taylor Ward there as he continues to apply pressure to that injury around the eyebrow and the bottom of his forehead on the right side. A scary moment for the Angels. They’ll still need a few moments here before play can resume as that card is moving slowly to be able to try to keep that pressure on there too. See one of the officials, one of the Astro trainers it looks like and one of the security or first responders that are here at every game walking alongside with Taylor Ward. In the meantime, Ramon Reas is at second base. He doubled to put Ward in that position near the wall. And the batter due up is Jacob Melton to face Garcia, who’s been taking warm-up tosses throughout to stay loose here. Ward gets a final hand from the crowd of encouragement from the division rivals fan base here in Houston. See some Texas hospitality for Taylor Ward as they close up the gate. Luis Reneipo who’s played some right field and even center field recently has moved to left field. And there’s more at second. Really important for Teodosio to really take control of that outfield and cover as much ground as possible. Now here is Melton who has grounded out twice today. Garcia who has sinker and splitter and slider in his own right. The way that Soriano worked this Astros groups a strike on Melton. Top of the order is next. Angels added a couple of runs in the top of the eighth. They lead it by three now. It’s 0 and two on the center fielder Melton.

Why do I blame the astros
ウォード可哀想😢
Thats going to sting for weeks. He needs stitches for sure.
Ward is a hard nosed player, he will be back soon.
Reminds me off my Phil’s Aaron rowand when he busted his nose
This is the thing I love and hate about baseball fields. There are some great ball parks with some of the designs. But if baseball fields were just regulated to all be the same like hockey football and basketball you wouldn’t get as many injuries like these because everyone would be used to playing on a universal field. Hope he recovers quick I don’t know a good answer because traditionally baseball has always had unique fields but definitely feel like awkward setups like this need to go.
I saw this live and immediately knew something was wrong, thankfully the bullpen was near so they came out to help him immediately, pray for Ward
Why the hell was that even like that in the field of play? I hope he is OK he is one of my favorite players!!!
テイラーは首から上にヒットがこれで2回目か
2年前、こめかみデッドボールで骨折&出血、
今回はウォールにヘッドバッド、
脳震盪も心配だ
This happens in almost every single NHL game….this is nothing…..stitch it up and get back out there
MLB and owners are doing a horrible job of protecting their players. They build these stadiums with chicken wire in which you can actually rip or cut your hands, cement walls that have very flimsy patting, electrical junction boxes on the walls, etc, etc, etc….
I don't get why ballparks don't have the exact same field dimensions. For offense and defense reasons, it is stupid that every stadium is different.
ウォードさん、また顔に…😭

Worst stadium in the league…
A. I hope ward is ok.
B. Every time i see chafin and his 70's vibe i bust out laughing
The Houston Cheaters have such a horrible field.
As Astros fan I hope Ward is ok! Hope he recovers! Jim Crane needs to consider putting pads on the scoreboard! Would hate to see any ball player get hurt like that!
Here's a thought, get rid of them stupid angles in outfield, make a normal fence
0 reason to have a metal scoreboard at head level that only displays scores of other teams across the league.
😮😮😮dammm hope his good
Ward is just never aware
Houston Astros fans' have class, unlike many other fan bases. Prayers for Taylor Ward and, frankly all of these players risking life and limb just to make a play. Baseball is the greatest game on this Earth and I appreciate all of these athletes putting on a show for the fans day in and day out. Most player's are injured or 85/90%( at best )when they take the field each day. And although they do very well financially, it comes at a cost! A career can end at any given moment. All of these dude's are some tough SOB's, both, physically and mentally. There is no other game where you can fail 60-70% of the time and still be considered great. Love this game!!
P.S. : Jose Altuve is the GOAT! 🐐
I think the Astros ballpark is built just like there fans a bunch of cheating ass mfs I never liked tht park as seeing this makes me hate it even more they need to fix that part of the wall thts ridiculous hopefully all he needs is some stitches and he’ll be all right. Hopefully he doesn’t have a concussion.
Question – Is it a rule that when someone is injured like that the play is stopped (Double) or was the batter/runner just being reasonable?
As a Halo fan i really love seeing the class and respect shown by the Astros and their fans. ✌️ ❤
Hockey players wouldn't have missed an at-bat
I see a lawsuit heading Houston’s way
Great stadium design…
I hate that parks outfield.
Get Taylor to the best plastic surgeon in that city. Hope he’s ok.
Awe we love Taylor Ward! So sad to see him get another scary injury! He was having such a great year too. 😢 praying for health and quick healing 🙏 ✝️!
When idiots build a baseball field, hmm should we put a wall here?
Scary, that hurts just to watch it.
Hopefully he will learn not try to kill himself trying to caught an out
Nice mullet in the bullpen.
Why is the woman driving so slow
Why did the runner stop at 2nd? Just out of respect/concern?
また顔面イケメンが‥今年好調なのに インコースを自然と腰が引けない様に願う。
RIP
Probably smashed his nose huh. Damn that sucks
I hope he ok in the 25 years that has never happen at Daikin field has been open that never happen the scoreboard under the Crawford box are metal
“Tear Down this Wall” !!!😬
