And when people say that there may be more reps, more opportunities because he’s gone. Not that you weren’t going to get a chance to make the most of yours if he was here, but there may be more snaps for you. Well, I feel like if if you watch practice and and stuff, I feel like the opportunity was going to be there anyways, even if he was here. More reps and opportunities because like every day in practice, there was no fall off. There was no fall-off day. I went hard every day and I and I gained a coach’s trust, my players uh teammates trust. Um, and like if you ask them like you’ll you’ll just ask them like they they’ll tell you that Sam brought it every day. And that’s that’s the main objective like to gain the trust of the people around so I can uh be in those situations with Michael, you know, but he’s gone now. So I feel like Yeah. So you talk about so you gain the trust of of teammates and coaches but then I would imagine that coaches earn the trust of the players. So what is it that you’ve seen from the staff that has you trusting them? Um they’re consistent, you know, um every day they bring the energy and and and the positions that they put us in. Um I mean I feel like we’re just going to be great, you know. It’s like it’s a it’s like a blind trust, you know? We we can’t see the results until we play. So ask your question. But but it is a two-way streak. It is a two-way streak. Yes. Now Sam, it’s been roughly 18 months since you football snap against an opponent in the NFL. Just talk about how hungry you are to get out there and do some damage. Um I’m very hungry, but at the same time, I’m patient. You know, I I like, you know, we got what two two three more days to play. So, at the end of the day, I just gotta, you know, keep trust the process, be with my feet at, and I don’t want to get too excited, you know, because that’s that’s when when Sam start making penalties and jumping out. Yeah. All that stuff. I just I just want to be, man, I just want to be great, man. Like, I couldn’t ask for a better opportunity than I have now. And I just want to, you know, just go out there and showcase all the hard work I put in. And what can the addition of Kenny Clark in the middle of the defensive line, you know, do for guys like yourself, Dante, and as Raf? Oh, it’s it’s getting good. Like like we we we starting to um you know, work together more and and like get that communication down cuz that’s that’s the biggest thing about with the defensive line and defense is all about communication. If we if we get that down and of course you like he’s a superstar player so of course like at the end of the day we gota we just got to match each other you know and and work as a unit. You know what the the goal is for the team and yourself Super Bowl as an individual. What can 2025 be for a sandwich? Just give my all, man. Just be just be where I’m supposed to be. Play hard and and like you know and just do everything I can. You know it’s me versus me this year, you know. I don’t look at anybody else. I don’t look at I just look at the man in front of me and I got to beat him. That’s it. Sam, on the subject of the Eagles, just watch you film pairing. What do you make of their offensive lineup? What do you think is going to be a key success on Thursday? Um, get off communication. Um, it just it’s just who wants it more honestly and I want it bad. You know, this is my uh first game back since being injured. Um, I’m very excited but also patient. And I just I just want us to go out and and be ourselves cuz only us only we can beat ourselves, you know, and that’s how I feel. So, I just I just want to go out there and just just play ball like just play.
