Between the Washington Nationals and the Miami Marlins for the Washington Nationals, I have seen Cade Kavali listed as the starter in this one. While the Miami Marlins, I’ve seen Adam Maser listed as the starter here. Could potentially be a bit of a bullpen game situation for Miami. Hopefully, we can, you know, verify that uh going forward. But I mean, the last couple times we have seen Maser, he actually was used as a starter uh or eating starters innings. Like he’s only had nine and two/3 innings this season. It was five and two/3 back on June 18th. And then last time through the rotation, four innings, a two-run ball against the Mets. So maybe it’s going to be a spot start instead for uh for uh for Adam Meer. But I still don’t know how much I love him in this spot. I mean, yeah, the the Nationals have been really ice cold offensively as of late, but I still think this is a decent lineup. you know, Cade Kavali, you know, he hasn’t necessarily had the best amount of luck, but you look at some of his recent home starts, the two that he’s had in the month of August, um, you know, 11 and a third innings of shut out ball. He’s given up 10 hits, has 11 strikeouts, but you look at the teams that he shut out in those two starts, four and a third innings of three hit shutout ball against the Athletics, who have been redhot against right-handed pitching, and seven innings of seven hit shutout ball against the Philadelphia Phillies in a game that, you know, the Nationals were were competitive in as the entire way. So, I just I like what I’ve seen from Kavali at home. The Miami Marlins, they were able to take three or four from the Mets on the road, which was mighty impressive. And they scored, you know, five, 11, nine, and seven games in those uh in those four outings. So, you know, I I do think that the Miami Marlins could, you know, have some value in spots down the road. But, like I said, Adam Mer is just not a pitcher I’ve been trying to go out of my way to back. The Washington Nationals are still hitting 263 against righties in the last two weeks. The team OPS numbers for Washington are still just outside the top 10, which is a little bit surprising for a team that’s struggling as as poorly as the uh as the Nationals have been. But, you know, the Miami Marlins haven’t been doing very hot themselves and I just think that this for me is a uh a national spot. So, you know, again, Kate Kavali’s had his issue, still has that RA up over five, but I’ll take Washington in this one at home and that’s going to be my free pick.
