Spodek arena is such a legendary place in Counter Strike, it cannot be understated! One of the most well known events in CS, maybe all of eSports history, called IEM Katowice used to be held here.
Heard it is being shifted to Krakow next year, but this along with IEM Cologne (previously called ESL One Cologne and the venue colloquially called the Cathedral of Counter Strike) are the “Prestige” events of the game.
Lots of history in this place.
