So again, use that promo code pick and get 15% off your purchase. But let’s get to this one between the Houston Astros and the New York Yankees. A potential playoff preview and a potential pitching matchup preview here as you’ve got Valdez listed as the starter for the Houston Astros and Max Freed listed as the starter for the Yankees in this one. And you know, Max and both these starters, you know, are are viewed as high-end options in their respective rotations. And for good reason. I mean, Famber Valdez has been, you know, the team staff ace for a couple of years now. Max Freed was one of the premier pitchers in baseball earlier this season. And that’s not to say that he’s not now. I’m just saying in his current form, he is not what he was, you know, compared to, you know, earlier in the season. And uh I think that this could be, you know, another rough start for Freed against an Astros lineup that is known historically year in and year out for being a tough team to knock off when it comes to, you know, throwing a left-handed pitcher on the mound. And you look at Max Freed’s, you know, numbers in a lot of his recent outings. Basically, his last seven starts, which pretty much goes back to the All-Star break. Max Freeze posting uh an erra of 4.95. Now, he has had back-to-back strong starts, but both those starts were at home. The the three road starts that he’s had since seven runs allowed and five innings and a win over the St. Louis Cardinals. I mean, still the Cardinals who, you know, just shot themselves in the foot in that series, but four innings, excuse me, five innings, a four-run ball against the Rangers. Five and a third innings of six run ball, four earned against the Blue Jays. So, I do have my concerns with Max Freed for sure. Now, same thing goes for Framber Valdez. He had a nice bounceback start against the Colorado Rockies, but prior to that, his four starts in the month of August, you know, he had an erra of seven or well over seven in those four starts before, you know, managing to pull uh pull something out of the fire in that start, you know, at home against the Rockies. And I still think this is going to be a great pitching matchup, but in the end, I think I trust the Astros more in this matchup. Now, it’s worth noting that the uh the Yankees have won seven straight beatings between these two teams in Houston going back to the 2023 season, but I still think that, you know, the Astros have what it takes to to battle in this matchup. I just feel like I like Framber Valdez at home. Don’t love Max Freed on the road as much, especially in current form since the All-Star break. So, I’m going to roll with the Houston Astros at home in this one. I think that the uh the bullpens, you know, cancel each other out. Like I said, I think that the Astros beat up on Freed here.
