My eye-test supports this, but this is one of those situations where you want to let a player ripen more organically when it comes to this season, as opposed to forcing him into the regular rotation this year- because no matter how good he is, we aren’t going to go far in the post season if JF and CM don’t show up.

    Really hope Olson can come back for post-season.  Even one of Cobb or Urquiby able to pitch would be good too.

  3. For sure and he absolutely makes the rotation next year, but it absolutely makes sense why Hinch is using him the way he is
