The middle of the Big Ten looked a bit shaky against some MAC opponents, but all in all, Week One was a success for the Big Ten.
No Big Ten team was upset as the conference’s two losses, Northwestern at Tulane and UCLA vs. Utah, came as underdogs. And, of course, Ohio State was the big winner of the whole week in college football, topping preseason No. 1 Texas 14-7 in Columbus.
