Washington Commanders Just Got GREAT News. Signing Soon?
Yo, what is up guys? This is Pedro here and in today’s video I want to talk about Kendrick Bourne and the Washington Commanders possibly signing him today and how they got some good news about that. If you guys are new, make sure to subscribe, hit that like button and that notification bell as well so you never miss a video. Also check out Sleeper link in the description and I will also touch on the Brian Robinson and Jakori or Bill Crosky Merritt stuff that I talked about yesterday. really more Bill Crosky merit in the other video cuz some of y’all weren’t believing the report. So, we’ll talk about that as well. But the Commanders got some good news about Kendrick Bourne on, you know, last night and today. So, Kendrick Bourne actually visited the 49ers and was scheduled to visit here as well. But a lot of people were like, you know what, he’s visiting with the 49ers first and you know, he’s not going to make it out of San Fran and he’s just going to sign there. Well, guess what? He was, you know, he had that visit yesterday and today he is visiting with the Washington Commanders and Adam Peters. So, he came out of that visit without a deal with the San Francisco 49ers. Uh Kendrick Bourne, veteran wide receiver. We’ll get into all of his stats and everything that you need to know as well a little bit later. Has that connection with Adam Peters obviously. You know, Adam Peters was, you know, assistant GM while he was there. So, you know, he was at Dulles. This was what today? Yeah, this or sorry, this was yesterday, last night. And Kendrick Borne posted that on his story, you know, on route to Dallas International Airport to meet with the Commanders. Didn’t reach a deal with the 49ers. And this doesn’t mean that a deal is guaranteed. It also, you know, could mean a deal happens. I will, whatever happens later today, if they sign, I’ll update the video. If not, I’ll change it. But this definitely makes it more likely the fact that he left San Francisco without a deal and he’s coming to Washington to meet. You know, usually you don’t like to be the second meeting and not the first. But in this case, you know, maybe the 49ers didn’t, you know, wow him enough or he’s just, you know, looking forward to seeing what the commanders have to say and, you know, about him possibly, you know, playing there. But it’s a two-way street obviously. You know, he has to work out, he has to look decent, and then they’ll sign him if it works out. and if he wants to as well. It’s a two-way street. And Ben Sanic said Bourne uh Bourne’s in town now that he already has visited with the 49ers and still flew cross country. Seems like a positive sign for the commanders. We will see. And that’s kind of what I said. So I believe it is a good sign for the Commanders that, you know, he already visited with the 49ers and he still wants to take that Washington Commander visit. If a signing happens, I believe it’ll be today or tomorrow. I mean, you’re playing in less than a week. you’re really like five days away the game is. So I I doubt if Kendrick Bourne is signed, you know, today or tomorrow that he plays week one, but you want to have him acclimated as quickly as possible to get him into not just football shape, but learn the offense, know his teammates, stuff like that, because that that stuff does matter. It does matter. And it’s, you know, part of the reason it takes some guys time to, you know, get those stats up when they get traded for mid-season and stuff like that. So, Kendrick Bourne, I think it would be a good signing. We’ll get into his stats in a little bit. You know, he’s not going to be a one, a two, even a three. I think the best case for him is a four, and even a five. You know, he is what maybe we thought, or more specifically, specifically the commanders thought KJ Osborne would be. That’s what I believe. You know, they they thought KJ Osborne would be a good four or five and he ends up not even being a six. Like, he was just bad. He was bad for us. So, uh, real quick though, a word from today’s sponsor. And a huge shout out to Sleeper for sponsoring today’s video. Sleeper is the best way to experience and connect over sports together. They have fantasy sports leagues, which I’m involved in. I have a fantasy league, dynasty league on Sleeper. You also can make real money on picks. So this week I do have three picks for the Washington Commanders New York Giants game. I believe Chris Rodriguez will have a pretty big game getting over 27.5 rushing yards against the New York Giants. I think Graham Gnau will have over five and a half kicking points. So field goals count as three. Extra points count as one. I think he’ll get around six, maybe a little bit more than that. And then Austin Eckler over 19 and a half receiving yards. I think he will have a big day for sure. So make sure you guys check out Sleeper. Use promo code Pedro on Sleeper and get a 100% match up to $100. Link is in the description. Terms and conditions apply. All right. And again, a huge shout out to Sleeper. We’ll be working with them this season. Super excited about that. All right. So Kendrick Bourne, let’s talk about some, you know, some of his stats and everything. So, you know, he played with the Patriots recently, played with the 49ers, obviously, and you know, he’s had some success. Has he been a number one? No, not like two maybe in his first season with New England. I forget who was in their receiving core that year, but you know, it’s, you know, still 800 yards. Like 800 yards is good. That’s that’s you know low level two which again if we had the 800 yards from Kendrick Bourne this year that would be outstanding but that’s not going to happen. Could we get you know 400 500 that is a possibility and that would be pretty good in my opinion considering we don’t ha you know we have Terry we have Noah Brown we have Debo Samuel those guys are good those guys are vets but here’s the thing you know injuries happen. Noah Brown he’s he’s already hurt. He’s going to probably start the season healthy. Maybe not fully fully healthy, but he’s going to start the season off healthy. But, you know, you don’t know what happens the rest of the season. So, Kendrick Bourne is a good insurance policy. If the commanders do sign him, he’s a very good insurance policy for possibly if Noah Brown gets hurt, even some of the other guys getting hurt. And even if no one does get hurt, he’s still what? You got Terry, Noah, and Debo as your top three. And then after that, Kendrick Bourne could be your four or hopefully he’s your five in terms of production behind Jaylen Lane. But if not, you have him as your four. Again, this is all if the commanders sign him, but I think it’s trending in that direction. And you know, last year played in 12 games, 300 yards. Not super impressive, but over a 17 game season, you know, that’s probably around 500 yards. But the year before had 400 I didn’t even realize this. had 400 yards in eight games. So was on pace for over 800 yards and eight touchdowns. So like on pace for I would say like 850 yards and you know 8 n touchdowns which is very good, very good. And you know that’s much better than what we had from our number two last year. So he could be again a good four for us and just having that veteran presence and having you know if someone goes down he’s done it before. He’s been in the NFL for what, eight seasons? You know, played in the NFL for eight full seasons, a UDFA with the 49ers in 2017 when Adam Peters was there. So, I think it does make sense for the Commanders to sign him. Just don’t have your expectations super high because I think some people think Hendrick Bourne’s really like not really good, but he’s at like a two or a three. He’s not. He’s a four. maybe, you know, if someone does get hurt, he can step up and be a three. But for us, he’s not going to be that at least week one, uh, if the Commanders do sign him. And he actually, I did, I was not hip to this, you know, didn’t wasn’t used as a rusher at all in San Fran, but with the Patriots in 2021, he not only had 800 receiving yards and five touchdowns, but had 125 rushing yards. Very, very interesting there. And it wasn’t like it was one big rush. He had his long was only 18 yards and he had 12 carries. So average 10 yards a carry over 10 yards a carry. That’s very impressive. So, you know, not necessarily they’re going to use him that way, but maybe you could see a carry or two, but he’s a little older for that. So, I I don’t necessarily know if they would, you know, do that. Uh, and then in terms of the, you know, Bill Crosky Merritt thing in the intro, I don’t know why I said Brian Robinson, but, uh, I think I was thinking about possibly another video I was going to do on Bro, but Jacorei, I talked about the possibility of him being inactive. And people were saying, “Oh, I’m making up a report or, you know, this isn’t what’s going to happen.” I was just going off of what John Kim mentioned on his podcast a week or two ago, saying that don’t be surprised if he’s inactive due to us having four capable running backs that could start. That’s all I was saying. I was going off of his report. Was I agreeing with, you know, the report? And that, by the way, that’s not his like he’s not saying the commander should do that. He’s just talking about that’s a possibility. I don’t agree with that in terms of the commanders should do that. No, I think Bill should be active and if that means having four running backs, you know, active, then so be it. Go ahead and figure something out. But again, that report is out there. It’s true in terms of what K said. And you know, it does make sense if you think about it, at least the dilemma that they have because if they keep four running backs active, they have to move some other guys around and, you know, other positions and maybe be thin there. So, just again, just you guys got some people didn’t even watch the video and they’re just commenting right away. So, I still think Bill should be active, but that’s also part of the reason why I hit Chris Rodriguez, you know, over 27 and a half yards because I think he will have a big workload week one. Even if Bill’s active, I believe that, you know, they’re going to be kind of splitting the carries. And then down the line, you could see Bill getting a lot more of a workload than he’s getting, you know, in week one, week two, week three. So something to keep in mind with, you know, the commanders backfield. This is a big game, guys. You know, week one, this is one of your easier opponents, but it’s a first off, it’s week one, anything can happen. Second off, it’s the Giants. They have, you know, a decent defense and they got some playmakers on offense. And three, it’s a divisional opponent. You never know what can happen. So, in the NFC East, they’re all playing each other. Should be a good week. But again, you just have to, you know, you can’t be too confident. I like our team and I think we’re good and I think we’re going to win, but you know, this is an important game and it is one of the easier easier games on our schedule. This year’s schedule’s hard though. This, you know, this year’s schedule is hard. But yeah, that’s it for today’s video. Hope you guys enjoy. Check out Sleeper link in the description.

Pedro, your videos are improving to now very informative.
Outstanding keep it up.
Also we need to sign some free agents FS Justin Simmons and SS Jabril Peppers ( let's make the depth super strong. Sorry I don't TRUST S Q.Martin & S W. Harris
He's going to leave Washington without a deal and go back to the 49ers
He's just checking all his options before signing San Fran got the better deal
He will sign it just won't be with my Washington Commanders because the 49ers have a better package deal for him
Your dead wrong on Bourne, he is WAY BETTER than Noah , Bourne will be our #2 or 3 eventually
Given this pass happy league, and Noah Browns questionable health, we can use all of the help we can get!
Why was he cut from the Pats?
click bait like a mofo..come on dude
think he would be better than Luke and upgrade for depth for sure… but bet 49ers will give more money
He requested to be released. Wasn’t a cut candidate for those wondering!!
He would b there Crowder fr fr
