The NFL Hates What The Dallas Cowboys Just Did… | Cowboys News |

The Dallas Cowboys, in my opinion, are going to be one of the most improved teams coming from last year to this year. And I have a couple of reasons backing up my opinion on that that we’re going to go over in this video. Now, the last video I made, we talked about the defense. You guys are probably sitting here right now saying, “Why are we looking at a Ravens Steelers football game here? It doesn’t make any sense.” Well, they picked up a guy named George Pickkins. Okay? And I want to show you the offensive version of the video. Defensive version we already dropped. You guys loved it. Okay? So, make sure you guys hit the like button, subscribe if you want more Cowboy videos throughout the season. Now, George Pickkins is, in my opinion, going to change everything for this Dallas Cowboy offense because the yes, no read situations are going to be outstanding with CD Lamb and George Pickkins. Now, what do I mean by that? So, right here is a playoff game. For example, as we drop back in the pocket, the first thing we look at are the safeties, right? So, for example, if this guy bites down and this guy’s, let’s say, in a midfield close, this becomes a yes no read, a ball that we’re throwing no matter what. But not only do they have George Pickkins, but they also have CD Lamp. both guys can dominate which means which means defenses are going to be forced to play a lot of two high safety looks which means this guy he can’t bite up because if he does Devonte Williams right Miles Sanders Jaden Blue these guys are going to run down their throats every single time but when they do play a one high safety look this becomes a ball that we’re throwing every day of the week and you know if you throw it anywhere near George Pickkins he’s going to go get it right he had a couple of plays in this game alone versus the Ravens in the playoffs where he did this. Okay, now do not, I repeat, do not leave this man on island. They’re going to have to double send the safety up over the top. But the thing about it is if you have CD Lamb on the bottom side and he’s a one-on-one, throw it there, right? I think it’s going to open up the run game for the for the uh Cowboys. And let’s actually look at this, right? Last season, the Dallas Cowboys ranked 21st in the NFL in points per game. Not terrible, but not good either, right? They also ranked third or 23rd in third down conversion percentage. George Pickkins helps that immensely because you’re not um predictable now. You have two guys that you love, right? 32nd worst in the league in the fourth down conversion. 31st in red zone scoring percentage having a guy like George Pickkins in the red zone. Woo. Just wait until you see that. Right. And then 27th in touchdowns per game. But the issue last year was that they were so predictable because they couldn’t run the football. teams would stack the safety in the box and they’d have that one high safety rotate over to CD Lamb and they just couldn’t trust guys like Jaylen Tolbert and Cavante Turpin in one-on-one situations because they weren’t good enough, I guess you could say, um, in those coverages, but now they have two guys. The run game’s going to open up because you have less guys in the box, more guys protecting the outside boundaries with George Pick to C Lamb. And I think once you open up this run game, it’s going to actually open up the pass game even more. The problem last year was they were just way too predictable at times. They actually were one of the better teams in the NFL in terms of protecting their quarterback. But again, it’s all because they were predictable. It didn’t work out for them. And this is just from one game and I wanted it to be in the playoffs cuz I want to show you how effective he can be. Now, this is a little bit different situation because we are going to have this deep safety drop back here, but we’re going to have kind of like a crossroad over the middle. We’re trying to clear out this safety. We’re going to get a sideline go ball. We’re trying to get to that sideline as close as possible to create enough space between that deep safety and him, creating a one-on-one situation. Again, same football game. This isn’t a different one. This is the same game in the playoffs. As we drop back once again, you’re going to see Van Jefferson kind of tried to attack that deep safety. And as that deep safety starts to go backwards, he’s kind of frozen in line, right? What that means is now we have time to throw this to George Pickkins. And look at this. Not only does he grab it, makes guys miss in open space, kind of looks like Ryan Williams, and ends up turning this into an easy 36-yd touchdown, George Pickkins is going to be the ultimate playmaker and the ultimate player to improve this offense going to this season, not only in the passing game, but also in the running game as well. I’m also a big fan of Jaden Blue, and I do think Javvante Williams will be their day one guy. But Jaden Blue is a guy that’s going to earn a lot of playing time as the season progresses. He’s got great one cut ability and then the acceleration is something I haven’t seen before in a rookie like Jaden Blue. It is amazing to see on the football field. But most importantly and something that is very I don’t want to say undervalued, but something that a lot of fans of the NFL don’t really uh prioritize when looking for or looking at running backs, it’s pass blocking ability. This guy can really pass protect, which is another reason I think he’s going to be on the football field a ton for them. Now, look at this play here as we’re going to get just a little inside zone. We’re going to pull the right tackle. Um, right. We’re going to pull these guys inside and we just want to allow our blockers to set up. Now, you’re going to see him. He’s going to kind of act like he’s going to take this to the outside a little bit. And all we’re doing is trying to get these guys to overcommit in the wrong area as we boom, one cut, turn up the field, and go. That is exactly what he does. Look at that, right? Acts like he’s hitting this outside hole and then boom, turns up. And the acceleration here is beautiful. lows a shoulder, bounces off a tackler, and gets to the 1 to2 yardd line. Jayen Blue is going going to be another reason within this offense why they are just more dynamic. He can catch the ball in space. He can pass protect. He can run the ball in between the tackles, in between the guards outside that he can do everything for you. And that’s another reason I think this team is going to be better. Okay, the reason I’m picking Mike Evans is because, right, there’s no Jaylen McMillan. He’s out. He’s on the IR. There’s no Chris Gwin. Yes, you have a Mechabuka Kaw is also questionable for this game. I feel like Mike Evans is going to get a lot of targets and I’m going to go over five and a half receptions. Now, that might seem like a lot, but if we know Baker Mayfield, they’re going to want to throw the ball. Now, listen, we already have a 35% profit boost on this thing. So, let’s just throw I mean 10. Another area that we do need to focus on is the offensive line. And honestly, really quickly, we can touch on Dak Prescott a little bit. I do think he is in for the biggest year of his career just because of the fact alone that you have another go-to wide receiver in George Pickkins. You have CD Lamb. They love Jaylen Tober and you have an absolute playmaker in Cavante Turpin. But the main reason I think Dak is going to succeed this season is because he has to. If he doesn’t, his time here in Dallas could be over before you know it. They added Joe Milton, a guy that they believe in to develop long term. He’s got uh insane arm strength. He’s got good arm talent. Um but does need to develop a little bit. But I do think that Cooper Rush was not really a threat to take the job. I think Joe Milton as the age, right? but also the arm talent to take the job if you don’t succeed, which I think is going to ultimately push Dak Prescott in the right direction. At least we can hope that is the case, right? But again, it’s all going to come down to the offensive line. This is going to be a vital a crucial point of this Dallas Cowboys team. And again, you go back to last season, they struggled to run the football and a lot of that stemmed from the offensive line not being able to run block at times. But I will say they were pretty damn good when it came to protecting Dak Prescott in the uh in the pocket, right? So, if they can kind of translate that into this season, but also improve on the running block um the the running game, again, this team has some really great potential. No one’s really talking about it right now, but I could see them making a push in the playoffs. I really could. I think their defense is way better. Again, go check that out that video out. I break down exactly why the defense is going to be huge this year even without Micah. Let me know what you guys think. One player that’s going to be vital for them is Tyler Booker. They drafted him in the first round this season and he is going to need to come in here and compete right away. Now, he he actually fared very well in pass protection when it came to preseason. Very small sample size. I believe he only played about 28 total snaps in the preseason in total, but again played well when he was asked to. um versus the pass. Now, this is a play that’s very intriguing because they’re going to run a stunt. Okay. Now, essentially what that means is they’re going to reach the point of attack here, but then they’re going to slide to the inside. They’re going to reach the point of attack here, but slide to the inside as this guy kind of bounces around. Now, for a rookie, the communication part of this play is very difficult to stop because you need to be uh, you know, in constant communication with not only your center, but also your left guard as well. you need to be able to switch this thing. And ultimately, as we look at this, our center is going to need to pick up this guy, right? Our guard over our left guard is going to need to pick up this guy. And then Tyler Booker’s got the toughest thing of of it all because as he’s riding this interior guy inside, this guy’s going to bounce around and try to hit that gap. So, you need to be instinctive um and you need to be decisive, right? So, as this play kind of um initiates, again, they’re going to reach the point of attack. They’re going to scream to the inside. And actually, I I I mistaked it. So, this guy reaches here. Uh, he bounces this way and then Mike Green tries to wrap around. Okay, I apologize for that. But again, a stunt either way. And Tyler Booker picks it up perfectly. Mike Green was one of the best pass rushers in this draft and he gets stonewalled by Tyler Booker on that play. Now, again, we’re going to need to see more of this as time progresses and I will admit the offensive line, it’s a bit it’s a big question mark for me. I know they can pass protect, but can they become a better run protecting or not run protecting, but a run blocking offensive line this season? It’s going to be vital. It’s going to be crucial. I do think that they will be better. Um, they have more weapons. I think the boxes are going to be less stacked than they were last year, which I think is ultimately going to open up the playbook for the Cowboys. But I want to hear from you guys. Ultimately for the offense, I think they’re going to be better, right? Ranked about 21st in the NFL in points per game. I could see them being in the top 12 um because of the addition of George Pickkins. They do need to add a receiver unless they believe Jaden Blue can kind of play outside, which maybe he can. Um but ultimately, I think they’re better. I think they’re a lot less predictable, a lot more unpredictable. I like the running backs here. I think they add versatility again, more unpredictability because Devonte can catch the ball at the back field. He can also run the ball. Jaylen Blue can run the ball and he catch the ball. Again, when you have certain teams like, let’s say, the Ravens, for example, when Justice Hill is in the game, they’re probably going to pass the football. When Dererick Henry’s in the game, they’re probably going to run the football. They don’t have that predictability on this team. And then defensively, we talked about that as well.
