I love this spot. I think it's realistic, but gives us room to shine. I hate when they start ranking is high or the favorite to win because I swear it causes us to lose lol.

  1. After struggling to stop opposing teams all year and doing next to nothing to fix their weaknesses the Bengals jump up several spots

  2. We are better than the Broncos, Vikings, Chargers, and Jags (and more but I don’t wanna be too outlandish)

  3. Steelers should be number 16. Just slightly above the middle, like our record is each year.

  4. We should be ahead of the Jaguars, but we’re definitely in that #14-#19 range so it’s not too off.

Also think the Broncos are getting a bit overhyped. They’ll be good but not great. They went like 1-6 or something against playoff teams (not counting the Carson Wentz Chiefs in week 18).

    Micah-less Cowboys are #12?

Raiders and Giants are too low here, as well. Just my opinions

  5. It needs to be stated how useless these early season rankings are. No one needs to get up in arms. We will be way better than where we are ranked. It’s a clickbait rankings. It’s fine

  6. Dallas and Jacksonville seeming a little suspicious. Both were trash last year. Dallas has Dak back so that something that maybe they won’t be terrible.

  7. The Bengals and Cowboys are going to score 35 points and still lose on a regular basis, there’s no way either should be that high. Houston would be better off putting tackling dummies on the line of scrimmage for their OLine. The Jags I think will be better, but *that* much better. We should definitely be above those teams. I see the Rams and Vikings in the same tier. Elite defenses with offenses that should be good as long as the QB performs, despite their age (JJ being basically a rookie and Stafford/Rodgers aging and coming off injuries)

  8. I love it. We will again perform better than people expect but at the same time they will say we under performed.
