  1. woah Barkley lost a shitton of weight last time I checked
But yeah NBA is fucking over the viewers nothing new
You can also js don’t buy 4 subscriptions & go to streameast or something

  2. lol it will 1000% come back to bite them.

As a kid what made me a huge fan was live games being so accessible.

My parents had basic cable tv so all I could watch was sports and got into live sports big time.

I followed my favourite teams and watched so many games.

There’s so many different avenues for content now that if the games aren’t accessible you will miss out on new and existing fans watching other things eventually.

Good luck to them not my problem

  3. This is why I pirate the games

I pay for every service associated with the nba, its just easier to watch them illegally. Think about that

  4. I’m not an NBA fan, but this is relatable because the same thing happened with MLB, and I haven’t watched a game in 3+ years because of this.

I went from watching almost every game since I was little to a grown man, to not giving crap anymore.

  5. The NFL has been doing it for a while now but recently worsened. Problem is the NFL has a lot more demand per game so people will put up with this. Now with so many national games on so many platforms it kills the utility of league pass some.

I’m just going to skip on the peacock only games but actually somehow have access to the rest but this is part of how to compensate for the loss of the RSNs

  6. Chuck looks like he’s wearing Grandma’s glasses and Bill is evidently passing a kidney stone.

  7. It’s not just the NBA, it’s all the sports leagues. You need a dozen different subscriptions to watch the games.

  8. NFL has games on Netflix, YouTube, Prime, Peacock, ESPN+ and has put TWO playoff games on streamers.

MLB currently has Friday games on Apple TV and early Sunday Morning games on Roku.

NHL has exclusive primetime games on ESPN+.

MLS is entirely on Apple TV killing off the local broadcasts.

Most European soccer leagues that are broadcasted in the states are on streaming platforms or intentionally put there for a boast(see peacock again).

I don’t think this is a NBA problem but more so a North American sports problem because either someone has all of these streamers or sailing the seas for their sports anyways.

  9. Not only that but nba league pass is now exclusive to Amazon prime and NBA.com. Which is annoying since in the past other providers had those channels integrated in their tv lineup. Now you need to use the janky nba app or shell out prime + league pass since you can’t just get it standalone from amazon.
