Did Framber Valdez INTENTIONALLY cross up his catcher after waving him off? 👀 #shorts
[Applause] sends that one to left. Alt going back watching this one. That’s a slam the other way against the Giants. Just even more rare that both home runs today have come off of left-handed hitters bats. Yeah. Only coming into this game giving up one home run to a left-handed hitter this season.
Speculation Framber Valdez purposely crossed up catcher after telling him to step off before grand slam.

Shout out to Salazar for keeping it professional, chose not to embarrass his pitcher after that nonsense.
They both lied by saying he didn't do it intentionally. Anyways, a good catcher would have caught that fastball and not let it hit his chest protecter.
I been saying for years that Valdez is not an ace he should of been gone and I dont like him
sure as hell did!
to worried about his hair
Astros announcers totally clueless of what just happened. Too busy talking about Trents slam and I love it.
You can look at this guy for an instant and tell he has a low IQ
100% intentional!
Of course Volpe did not offer at a middle-middle pitch 😂
Good grief baseball stinks
He sent a pitch that was difficult to navigate right down the middle. Intentional or not, the catcher should catch the ball. Problem solved.
It sucks cause that new catcher could have had a moment to really help the team with that step off. He could have really made a difference but Framber couldn't be a teammate
I'd throw that ball as hard as I possibly could straight at his face I got gear on body , u wanna play this game ? Teammate or not
Framber is an Emotional Mess. When his Head is right he's one of the Best but lately he gets Too Rattled, then the wheels fall off
hopefully the catcher gave him a receipt later on off camera he is owed one
I have seen a lot of baseball in my life time, but I have never seen a pitcher bean his own catcher.
I dont understand how the catcher didnt catch the ball?
Even Volpe looked confused by that sequence, but Volpe looking confused at the plate is pretty standard for him
Just like a scorpion……..
Only he knows for sure but it sure looked intentional
Catcher should play on minor league. First time I've seen a pitcher hit like that.
If I was the catcher I would at least tip the next batter as to what was coming next.
