Paredes Update 9/3

  1. IF he comes back, he’ll be DH only, like Harper and Judge were after their UCL injuries

Still, a Paredes taking pitches as DH changes everything. As inconsistent as our offense is, the addition of Paredes and Jake makes it a scary one, no matter how inconsistent it can be

  2. With Paredes and Myers back this lineup could be really good.

    Peña SS
    Yordan LF
    Paredes DH
    Altuve 2B
    Correa 3B
    Walker 1B
    Myers CF
    Caratini C
    Smith/Sanchez RF

  3. Gonna need to hear that stone cold Steve Austin glass shatter when he returns. We need his bat so bad.

  4. Paredes coming back in time for playoffs, if we make it, will be huge. But for everyone thinking he’s going to improve this offense, you’re kidding yourselves. Everyone said the same thing about Yordan coming back. Until the offensive philosophy changes, no one player is coming back and turning the entire offense around.

  5. Euro football(soccer) players deal with hamstring injuries a lot because they’re always running and making sharp turns on a whim. Platelet rich plasma(PRP) injections has been (somewhat) proven to help reduce the recovery time and rule out surgery all together. If he comes back, it won’t be a miracle but glad that he got a second opinion because these injections have been happening across the pond for a while.

  6. I don’t know much about this sort of injury. It seems like the two options are surgery or try to rehab it and come back like he is doing. Is the worst case scenario that he just aggravates it again and ends up having the surgery anyway? Or could he cause more serious and long term damage by trying to come back without having surgery?

  7. Bro Paredes really about to pull an 08 John Cena 😭

(Shoutout to whoever gets this reference lol)
