  1. Great fucking win that one felt good and earned. Sucks we had to use the A guys but any win with a Cubs loss is great day. Now Freddy to win the series.

  2. # WE HAVE TAKEN THE SEASON SERIES AND OWN THE TIEBREAK

also I can remove the gray from the chart!

  3. Feels like the biggest win of the year considering Cubs lost and we officially have tiebreaker over Philly

  4. Please be ok Yeli

Edit: Murph sounded decently optimistic about it. The reporter asked if this is like previous flare ups and he kind of got defensive saying he already got the surgery so he has it fixed and this is basically the first setback he has had and he’s kind of played through it for a couple days. I guess they’re just going to try a couple days off and see if it improves.

All in all, this sounds like good to medium news

  5. Man props to Quintana. Had a horrible start last time out and I admit I was pretty worried about this one, but he was very good.

  6. What is that, 16-3 against division leaders? 5-0 on season series?

Also, some of you need to get some fuckin perspective and stop making the game threads unfun to participate in with your doom bullshit. You’re not smart or funny, it’s lame and tedious.

Save it for if/when we need to commiserate.

  7. Bullpen got it done tonight. Really hope we can keep Schwarber contained for one more game, Yelich healthy, and maybe 7 innings tomorrow for Freddy?

  8. Can we rehash the Siegler experiment? Can he please go down he’s not been good at all. I’m not even saying he’s not a big leaguer. He 100% is but for Miami or Baltimore. Not for the best team in baseball looking to secure home field advantage and the best season in franchise history. He’s hitting 200. Not HRs. Not stellar Defense. Not particularly good speed. The only real perk of him is he can catch. Like ok cool. We haven’t needed him to catch yet. Probably won’t have him catch all year. He’s just such a liability. Give Durbin the full time nod. Monasterio is there as the backup. Get up another catcher or just another IF bat who can actually hit. I don’t understand why he’s still on the big league roster

  9. Sounds like we’re not getting Yeli tomorrow based on what Murph just said. Just gotta hope for the best I guess

  10. I am always a sour grape, but I’m so glad Devon Williams is a Yankee….. I’m not sure if anyone else is watching this Yankees game. But, we aren’t dealing with it anymore.
