Boy, the Pirates have had it had had him played nicely off the bat. I thought, “Ah, that’s extra bases. We’re in trouble.” Dodgers first run 90 ft away. Ready Freeman has reached twice. Ground ball. We go to the bottom of the sixth inning and the Pirates lead two to nothing. And a base hit for Nick Gonzalez. His first hit tonight. A one out single to right. There’s O’Neal Cruz. See if we can get him around. We can use another run. Bounced off the plate toward third. Charging Hernandez exchanging and throwing out Cruz. Gonzalez to second. Two men are gone. This would be a big two out RBI. And Joy Bart this year has been better with men on base. Bart on 10. A swing and a fly ball out to deep right field. Hernandez back. He’ll play it off the wall. That’ll bring in Gonzalez. Bart heading to second and he’ll get in with a two out RBI double. The Pirates add on. Three nothing Pirates here in the sixth. Have a night. Joey Bart. This one stayed up. Was on the outside corner though. Bart able to stay on it. Just the 11th appearance for Cisk. Here’s Show Otani. One for three tonight with a double. Had a leadoff double in the fifth. This is a bouncer to left side. Picked up at third by Deainy on the run. Not in time. Well, Tani legs out an infield base hit. Pittsburgh a look at it, but we’ll take a look also.
