Philadelphia Phillies vs Milwaukee Brewers – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | September 3, 2025 MLB Season
ready to tow the rubber. Trey Turner digs in. Homeplayed umpire Jim Wolf says, “Play ball.” And here we go on a Wednesday night. First pitch up and away. That was a grinder of an outing. Couldn’t find his change up in his last start. Turner on the ground. Nice play over there. Nice pickler and throws out the speedy Trey Turner for out number one. That’s a good way to start the night with a little less than a month to play. That one’s in there. Called strike three. Look at Kintana painting the bottom of that zone. And now Schwarber is giving it to Jim Wolf a little bit. Umpires don’t like when you say things like that. Bouncing ball and off the glove of Seagler into left field. Harper is going to third. Collins throw to third is linked. Snap throw to first and Real Muto is out. Terra takes off. Throw down to second is late. Right away the Brewers get into the running game. Big part of their success this year. And Ter two on. Nobody out. Contrarus into right field. A base hit. Terra will be held at third. Castiano’s average arm. But Jason Lane, third base coach, sensing a big inning here. Two-2 pitch. Freelick in the air. Shallow center. Falling fast. It’s down. A base hit. Throw to third and it goes off the dugout. Cheerio racing to the plate. He is safe. A mad dash for Cheurio. Base hit, an RBI, and an E8 to score the second run. It wasn’t a bad throw. Bow just whiffed that throw with Cheerio coming in on him. I think he lost track of where it was. Couldn’t see it. Real Mutoo giving him the plate. Turio went in feet first and slid right through that foot of Real Muto. Once you have it in your glove, you can cover it up. That’s a drive into right field. Back on it Catos and she’s gone. Isaac Collins a threerun home run. What a start for the Brew Crew tonight. a five spot. Still nobody out in this first inning. Perkins playing in his 35th game after that fractured shin. That’s the first out for Jake Bowers with nobody on. Just one out. We’re still in the first. Five runs in for the Brewers. Bowers a big swing and a miss. And down he goes. Long career in the big leagues. On the first pitch, Anthony Seagler flies out to center and that will retire the size. He’s only played in three games as he’s returned from that right hamstring strain. Missed virtually all of August. And so just sensed some tightness, some cramping from Jackson the last couple days. I don’t know if it’s true or not. There’s another bouncer. Look at Pintana. Snag that thing and two outs. Two one three put outs. One and one. Castanos back to the mound. Oh boy, how about three one three put outs on eight pitches. Kind of just bullied their way in on us. Terra flips one into left center. That’s got some slice and that’s going to get down between the two outfielders. Terang never slowed down and he’s into third base. Weston Wilson is still down. That was a big time collision. Good that nobody got, you know, any head injury. He doesn’t look like it. They didn’t bang heads. Never really had the ball in his glove. That’s going to be a triple for Terra. Wilson still shaken up here. Called strike three. Turo can’t put the ball in play here with one out. So they’ve covered Nola and he strikes out Contrarus. Brewers failed to get the runner in after the triple by Terang more trending on the cat spectrum. Fly ball shallow center field. Perkins smooth as always runs that one down to the count and he got him. Went back to that sler. Harper strikes out with his second K. No, seven on beg pardon with Ryan Braun. That’s a cold strike three. Half swing. Slow roller. Alec B playing in. Makes that play with ease. And a three up, three down inning. And the reporters Q shot on the bag. Bower steps on it. Got to tag him and gets the tag on to M Ortiz. A double play. Shot to center. Hit on the barrel but right at Perkins. Six pitch inning. Started with an infield hit. Hope she’s watching the night. Runner goes. Wow. Riuto. He had to get an interference call. He hit Ortiz, but Joey was in the batters box and did not move last month. That’s a savvy move. And now Ortiz caught by Bow using all of that 65 frame. Alec Bow takes an extra base hit and an RBI. Capture that award for August. Uh-oh. Terra sends it deep to left. It is off the wall. Bower scores. Terra is in with a double. He just keeps on hitting. What more can this guy do? opposite field off the wall and left. Cheerio just missed one. Got jammed a little bit. Fly ball to center. That’s going to end the inning, but Bryce Dang keeps it going. 02 pitch and in there called strike three right at the bottom of the zone with a fast ball. It’s been their best threat and that’s through for a base hit. They’re going to wind up Castanos. He’ll score. Trey Turner with a single and an RBI and the Phillies are on the board. Two and two the count. Here he comes. Schwarber strikes out. Back to that slerve. Saw a lot of pitches in that one too. Fast ball. Pull it right at Ortiz. He’ll step on the bag. Those ground balls that snuck through. That was a rocket off the bat Harper. Slow roller. Going to be a tough play. Sosa in time. Patient. Three in one. The count. Ooh, it’s in the air. Sounded like he broke his bat, but Bader got a good jump. Oh, that’s deep. Wilson’s going to watch this one fly. That’s a long home run off the bat of Weston Wilson. And the number nine hitter has turned this into a game again. Two-run homer. 6-3 Brewers as Wilson hits just his fourth home run of the year. On the ground got a chance. Terra fumbled it briefly. Throw to first. Not in time. Ah, couldn’t get out of his glove. He got him. Contrarus secures the strike out. Blocks it. went back to the change out. Two and two. Churio strikes out. Kirkering goes up the ladder with a fast ball. Two. Got him. Kirking. Three up, three down with two Ks. Six to three. Brewers lead it six outs away from evening this series at one and two. All sliders thus far from Aribbe. And make it five in a row. And a cold strike three. Con. Here he comes. And a bouncing ball. Seagler’s over. He’s got it. Throw a second. Out. Throw to first. And out. Double play. Two for the price of one for Uribe. [Applause] And a bouncer to third. Bow goes to second out there. And a double play. Brewers hit into their second double play of the game. Rob Thompson into not being able to use some of his lefties off the bench with Kanik. That ball is in the air to left field. Lazy fly ball to Wilson and the inning is over and we go to the ninth. Brewers trying to even this series. They are three outs away. The last three are the hardest always. Sosa fly ball center field. Perkins got a good break on it and right there for it. Out number one. Kanik would love one here. the pitch and a swing and a miss. He struck him out. 98 with a sinker. Play off the outside corner. Got him to chase. Brewers by three. Runner goes. Defensive indifference here. Wilson will take second base. The 10. Schwarber takes a strike. Cutter at the top of the zone. Save the 1-1. Schwarber on the ground. This should do it. Derang over the first ball game and the Brewers beat the Phillies. They piece it together. At the end, it is Jared Kanig who gets the last three outs. Collins hit the three-run homer.

Why in the world does Rob Thompson continue to Nola to pitch, definitely should not be a starter. He needs to be released from the team as the Phillies will lose if he pitches.
Big win for the crew! Nice to see pitching hold up this time.
Nola is a liability at this point. Bench him
I hate to agree with the comments but after years of being our ace it's time to let Nola go. he had a nice run, but it seems like after he signed that big contract, he's went downhill a little more each year. despite still being in first place and most likely going to the playoffs I kind of feel next year a lot of these familiar Phillies will be gone
Nola is the Philly max FRIED always lit up
Suds back atcha!!
Phillies having a snowball fight 😂
