That’s going to get into the corner and up against the wall. And Wells has himself a double. [Applause] Swing and a miss on the change. Vulpi down on strikes. Two away. And the pitch. Ground ball. Urias to Keratini and that’ll do it. The cattle walking slowly to the stockyards and that’s a great play by Bellinger. What a jump and he made it look somewhat easy. Told Valdez to step off. Fly ball deep right field going back. Bellinger. He’s on the track now. Back on the grass. He makes the play covering a lot of ground there. Right back to Warren and that’ll do it as Caratini finishes the one, two, three inning. Sky to left field and deep. Alvarez giving it a look and it’s over the wall. A home run into the first row over the Crawford boxes. A two-run blast and the Yankees lead three nothing. Ripped and a base hit. Now it’s going to get to the wall. McMahon rounds first. He’s going to second. Sanchez fires in, but it’s a two-out double. Grounded and grabbed there by McMahon. There’s one. And there’s two. McMahon is so smooth at third base. [Applause] Strike three. Koreah down looking. No runs to hit. Double play. Nobody left. We go to the fifth inning. Yankees up by three. He asked him, you know, when did this happen? That one’s driven out to left field. Alvarez back on the track and he makes the play in front of the high wall. There he goes and it’s chopped to third base. Koreah has time and he makes the throw to get Stanton for the final out. But there are a lot of receipts in there ready to go. That one is driven into left center of field. It’s going to be a base hit. go all the way to the wall. Stanton will get it in as Diaz picks up a one out double. And that one is off the glove of Chisum. Moving to third is Diaz. Charging is Bellinger. He’ll hold Diaz at third. That’s a single off the glove for Karatini. And first and third, one man out. That’s going to get a run in. Drifting back is Gisham. He’ll make the play on the warning track. Tagging and scoring easily is Diaz. Caratini heads back to first. A sack fly for Orias. And the Astros have a run. It’s 3-1 Yanks. Ripped into left field. Alvarez going to play it off the high wall. Going for two is Wells. He’ll make it. And moving to third is Rice who read that very well off the bat. into center field. The catch is made by Trel. Tagging is Rice. The throw comes into second. It’s a sack fly for Gisham. And the Yankees lead four to one. Sets and deals. Swing and a miss. So he gets Gisham. But the Yankees get a run on two hits. They leave one. We go to the bottom of the six. Yankees up by three. Starting with Jeremy Pñena. That one is drilled to left field. That ball is gone. See youa. A home run for Pinga and it’s 4-2 Yanks. [Applause] Left field. Stanton broke the wrong way and it’s over his head and up against the wall. And so just a glimpse. Ground ball third base. McMahon thought about coming home. He throws it. First backhanded scoop by Rice. Alvarez scores an RBI for Altuve. And now the Yankee lead is down to one. Knocked down by Cruz. Recovers and that’ll do it. Two-2 highf fly ball center field. Trl is there and dead center. He puts it away for the second out. Inning at bat where he hit the home run. He had talked to Cody Bellinger and then the eighth inning when he hit the home run as he popped out here to third base. Uh he was talking with Trent Gisham telling him that the slider doesn’t cut as much, doesn’t have as much break as they thought it did. And that’s a single right field. Stanton Fields. He’s coming home with the throw. Here comes Melton. Here’s the play. He’s in there. The ball gets away. Retrieved there by Wells. Runner moves to third. Alvarez moves to second. And it’s a tie game at four. Highfly ball right center. Bellinger back. Still back. And he makes the play right on the lip of the track for the final out. Tap softly right side. Ori to Walker. Two down. Easy inning for King as the Yankees go down in order. And we go to the bottom of the eighth inning. Line drive and it’s a base hit down the right field line. Tried to get a fast ball by him. Kare was having none of it. So he leads off with a double here in the eighth. Two-2 swing and a miss. Got him on the change. One away. Big strike out for Devin Williams. Here’s the payoff and he misses with the fast ball to load the bases. Williams wanted that call and he walked him. That’ll force in a run and the Astros take a 5-4 lead. Three walks in the inning for Devin Williams. Me, him or Aaron Boon. Line drive. It’s a base hit to right field. One run scores. Walker will stop at third. It’s a single for Pñena and an RBI and it’s 64 Astros. Big blow. He’s four for four and it’s a balk. Walsh calls a balk. The inning unraveling for the Yankees. Walker scores and that one gets away from Wells. Bounced straight up in the air all the way to the back stop. Another run scores. Treal pro ground ball and it is finally over. About as ugly an inning as you’re going to see. Two ejections and the pitch. Ground ball. Second base. Orius. You can see very few pitchers that actually have tattoos on their throwing arm. There’s a few. Swing and a miss. Gisham down on strike. The 2-2 ripped into right center field. It is a base hit. Cutting over is Trel. Cuts the ball off in the gap. Moving to third is McMahon. Judge with a single. Keeps the game alive. Judge goes. He’ll take second without a throw. [Applause] That one’s driven deep to right field. Going back. Sanchez on the track at the wall. He leaps. See youa. A three-run home run for Bellinger. And the Yankees are still alive. They’re down by one. One-1. And one more time, the Yankees down to their final strike. And here is the payoff. Strike three. Chisum down looking. Ball game over. And the Yankees lose 8-7. and Chisum arguing his case with Brian Walsh.
