  1. When are we going to automate Umps at this point? They’ve been destroying the game with NO accountability.

  2. Normally I’ll give umps some benefit of the doubt but this game was a dumpster fire. Can’t wait to see the ump scorecard as Stanton and Judge were getting strikes called at their ankles all night yet Williams is getting squeezed

  3. People are gonna get mad at the umpiring and rightfully so, but this was a massive blown save by the bullpen. Every single person gave up a run. That’s unacceptable

  4. Ump tried his absolute hardest to be hated tonight.

Now he can go hide with his union and learn nothing.

  5. You know what have been even better? Bringing in anyone but Devin Williams to pitch the eighth.

Umpire sucked, sure. Boone put a proven choke artist on the mound when Hill, Bednar, and Doval all had at least two days’ rest.

    What a fucking failure

  6. Ump got his feelings hurt by Boone and Williams and decided to screw the team out of the game. What a fuckin loser

  7. Glad jazz was on his ass.

I haven’t seen an ump swing the game so hard by squeezing our pitchers only to end the game the opposite way in a while

  8. It’s not that that’s a strike, it’s that weaver was actually hitting the black and getting balls. Fucking insane.

  9. I already commented on a different post but this has me livid. This dude needs to get investigated. Either we hire umpires from monasteries/shaolin temples or we replace them universally with robots. Complete BS.

  10. Umps are fixing games on MLB’s watch. They’re more protected than our government officials.

  11. Fuck Brian Walsh. But the Yankees shouldn’t have had to put themselves in a position where he could decide the game with his ambulatory strike zone.

  12. I know this may be unpopular but don’t leave the bat on your shoulder when the pitch is that close.

  13. Too close to take. A truly great hitter would have fouled it off and gotten another pitch. Lotta fucking whiney bitches in these comments. Ichiro or Pujols tap that foul and keep going.

  14. This, and gambling, and the composition of the ball, are all extremely perilous threats to the legitimacy of our game long term.

And also, obviously, stupid and correctable.
