If I have pictures of myself repping a team on social media, I am probably going to make sure to call as fair a game as I can. To blatantly cheat like that is so bad for the game.
Do they make sure umps are low in iq? Like..is that a prerequisite for the job? Genuinely curious because it really seems like it.
It was pretty clear while watching that his bad calls leaned heavily in the Astros favor. The really bad ones IMO were the up-and-in strikes that were called balls.
The last one was (barely) a strike, but the previous bad calls on important pitches set the tone.
I don’t remember ever watching a game called worse than this. We will take the win.

I dont really care about this sort of thing. Its well documented that as a team, this stuff has gone against the Astros since 2018, so any type of similar thing that ends up working for us for a game, ill take it.
To be fair, nobody likes the yankees.
That last pitch was a strike. That being said Blue’s zone was dogshit all night long
If it was anyone else at the plate, we wouldn’t be hearing about this.
