I know the team isn’t great at the moment but dead last?

  1. I mean we wasted our aging defenses last couple years with a head coach that couldnt dream of running an offense while pretending to be win now this is kinda just what happens

  2. National sports media is not there to make accurate or real predictions. Their job is to create traffic to their employer through narratives and clickbait. I highly doubt most of the people making these watch even half of the teams.

My prediction has tempered since the preseason and I saw that Rattler hasn’t improved much from last year, and Shough isn’t better than him at the moment. But, I still put our floor at 6 wins. (Split every series in the division, beat the giants, jets, and titans.)

If Rattler can improve as the season goes on, we can be an 8-9 win team.

  3. I mean, what changed since this dude’s last ranking that makes Cleveland better than us?

  4. Honestly, I’m ok with it. Having literally no expectations for this (rebuild) year is kinda liberating. If something cool happens, cool. If we suck…we knew it was coming. Let’s just see how it goes and focus 100% on beating the sad out of the falcons and we’ll be fine.

  5. I’m not a saints fan but have had a weird fixation tracking them this offseason

I really don’t see them being the worst team just off o line play alone. I’m really high on fuaga banks and penning putting it all together

  6. Look, I have loved this team since the bag years, so I understand the low rankings but someone was HIGH when they put Pittsburgh over Washington.

  7. i see this as a positive light.  the saints now are bad bad not mediocre bad.  the last bad losing seasons were 1999 and 2005 and their preseason rankings were between 22-25.  its been awhile since the saints were considered the worst team in the nfl

  8. Going into the season with zero expectations is actually pretty nice. I like the changes they made organizationally and don’t expect returns on those investments for a couple of years. I’m just excited to watch this team grow.

  9. Just wish the team would operate like the lowest ranked team. Holding onto vet contracts is not smart

  10. You don’t have a left guard. You have the least experienced Game 1 QB room since dawn of the salary gap. Your best player is an aging running back, your defensive stars are closer to Canton than a Pro-Bowl.

Oh and your counting on Juwan Johnson to be your in traffic catch guy.

No shame in starting from the bottom, lets go to work

  11. Tf kinda list is this, Ralph? Steelers over the Lions? Bengals over Comms?! I’m fine with us being so low – it’s a rebuild, no offense taken but come on, son – This is crazy.
