We’ve got Matt Chapman standing by at Coors Field. Matt, hitting two home runs for the Giants tonight. Matt, a good night for you. Three for four in the two home runs. A little pent up frustration from last night’s game by chance. Uh I don’t know. I just uh wanted to come out here and set the tone early and this is a big game for us. So uh glad that I was able to, you know, step up and help the boys out. Hey Chappie, it’s Romo. To see that Robbie Ray had the fifth inning that he had and where the Rockies took the lead and you guys came back in the top of the six and answered in that way. What does that mean for your ball club to be able to do that and has proof and can see themselves come back even when they fall behind? Yeah, it means a lot. you know, we’ve been playing really good baseball lately and uh obviously Robbie’s been doing a great job for us and uh you know, they they they put together some good at bats and were able to find a way to take the lead and then we answered right back and scored uh five, I believe, and uh you know, swung the momentum right back in our favor. So, I think uh with the way we’ve been swinging the bats, uh you know, we we don’t feel like we’re out of any game and uh we we feel confident enough to to be able to jump right back into it like that. So, it’s a good feeling for sure right now. Matt, we’ve seen Willie Adam Thomas and Raphael Devers kind of build off of each other in the home run department. Tonight, it’s you and Drew Gilbert. What can you say about the job that the rookie’s done since he’s been called up? Yeah, he’s been great. You know, he uh he does whatever he’s asked. Um he’s bringing a lot of energy. We’re having a lot of fun with him. Uh you know, it was good to get some youthful energy in this dugout and uh uh it’s been great to see him have success and know he works hard and uh you know, he’s going to help us out uh the rest of this year and into the future for sure. Matt, I feel like that’s the understatement of the century. He brings so much energy to this team from what we’ve seen. For sure. For sure. What you see, what you see is about what you get right there. Uh, you know, he’s just a he’s a little a little crazy man. So, uh, we love him. Thanks for stopping by, Matt. Great to catch up.
