The juxtaposition between this streak & our playoff drought, is not necessarily surprising or unusual, but it’s still genuinely fascinating.

  2. If I remember correctly, we went through a similar losing streak in opening games under Payton. I think they lost the opening game like 5 or 6 years in a row.

  4. The first game will probably be the point of highest morale for the team so let’s hope they can win it to keep the streak alive
