This last weekend, like the title says, I went to 2 twins games back to back. It was a firework/spongebob/arraez’s first game back night and saturday was a joe mauer giveaway. That saturday evening I got an email from MLB saying my account password had been reset due to “unusual activity”.

I know some people had problems with the Ballpark app on saturday but I got in fine and used my ticket on my phone throughout the game for food.

Well yesterday when I tried to watch, my account wouldn’t let me, I have the package that has the twins so its not a blackout issue. So i reset my password to log in and out just to see the email. The Email that was sent mid game on saturday. Even MLB is shocked someone would use their labor day weekend to see the Twins twice.

  1. We were there for the Padres series + one of the CWS games.

Were from Canada and traveled there for it. My account didnt get flagged. Perhaps it was something else that caused this issue outside of just being at the games?

  2. I got an email from MLB (Cubs) about potential security issues with the app that suggested resetting passwords.

  3. Pretty sure these notices are mostly automated because of logging in from different locations, IP addresses, or even devices.

  4. MLB ballpark apps were hacked across the country. Many people had their tickets sent to random accounts or sold on secondary markets
