Jays are in the bottom 3rd for “bullpen meltdowns” in the MLB

I think we are all suffering from recency bias
If these stats are correct, maybe the sky is not falling
These NY teams.. now that’s a problem
Can we see these stats since the beginning of August?
The issues with the bullpen are potentially a function of injuries and being over-worked.
Pen was fine beginning of the year but now as we get to more and more meaningful games – they have not been good.
Bullpen meltdowns SO FAR…
I hate houston
Yeah but it feels like all 71 have been in the last 2 weeks.
I don’t mind them struggling right now. They’ll (should) get it back together when it truly matters
What really matters at this point in the season is “what have you done for me lately”. And when you look at it from that angle, the bullpen has been quite bad and unreliable.
We’ve reached a point in the year where it doesn’t matter what you did in May and June, it’s all about the playoff push now.
For example, Santander has had a terrible year (injuries and poor play), but if he comes back and starts to get hot, he will be in the lineup come playoff time.
It’s all about getting hot now, all hands on deck.
The turnaround in factors like bullpen and hits with RISP has been crazy

“…and then what happened?”
