White Sox vs. Twins Game Highlights (9/4/25) | MLB Highlights

Taj Bradley’s on the mound for the Twins. It’ll be start number three. White Socks hit him hard in his Twins debut, but man, he was much better last time out against San Diego. Yeah, an incredible rebound for Taj in game two. And the biggest difference was he got ahead. He was able to throw all four pitches for strikes. The Twins look to avoid being swept in a four-ame series for the first time all year. Slice to left field and that will land fair inside the line and Carol will try for two. The throw to second base is going to be in time to get him. So Taj Bradley appreciates the effort right away tonight and Austin Martin tracked that ball down. Keshaw applied the tag. Carol thought about a leadoff double instead denied by Martin and Khaw. Kyle Teal to the gap in left center. Martin angling over and will get there. Good route from Austin Martin and there are two out. So far so good for Martin and left and the Twins defense behind Bradley. Here is Lenine Sosa. Swung on and missed. It was in the dirt. He set him up with fast balls up and in. And he fans him on a breaking ball in the sand. That is a lovely sequence from Taj Bradley for your Chicago White Sox. It’s going to be Frasier Ellard working as the opener with Jonathan Cannon who was just called up from TripleA expected to serve in that bulk role. Cannon was recalled from AAA Charlotte prior to tonight’s game. He was sent down back on August 8th. The last time we saw Canon in a big league uniform was on August 6th versus Seattle. Fly ball in right field. It is Baldwin racing over and a diving catch. No. Yes, he did make it. Okay. Waiting for the sign as Baldwin lays out as he robs Keshaw to start this bottom of the first. So, one away and now Trevor Learning and the pitch is hit sharply through the right side. Another base hit. just keeps hitting, especially against the left-hander. Six-game hitting streak for Trevor Lick and he’s got the runner picked off. The throw from Sosa to second. There’s the tag as Lick will now have to take a seat. Nice job by the lefty Frasier Ellard on the mound. Empty bases, but not anymore. There’s ball four to Jeffers. And now Cody Clemens has a chance. Two-1. See if Cody takes advantage. Clemens shoots one to left field and that’s a base hit. Jeffers will stop at second. The second hit of the inning, both by left-handed batters. And now first and second for one of the hotter Twins and Royce Lewis. Two two check swing. He went on a slider. That ball ended up in the dirt and he is out. He ran out of his baseline. So the Twins strand a couple after an inning from Minnesota. Nothing nothing. among the home run leaders in the game since he made his debut on July 22nd. Good off speed from Bradley in a breaking ball leads to the second consecutive strikeout for Taj. So one away breaking ball locking up me by one two big breaking ball in the zone. So two down, three consecutive strikeouts. Benetendi coming up. Benitendi shoots this one to the gap and it’s going to fall. So a two out single here. Slow roller left side being charged by Lewis and there is no play. Maid an infield single. We have to fight another day. Runners on at first and second. Two outs for Baldwin. The one-two pitch swung on. Tap right back to the mound. Another curve ball. Taj has it. Flips to first. Inning is over. Bradley impressive in the early going. Jonathan Cannon. He’s on for the 20th time knocking at the door of a 100 innings. the RA a lot higher than he would like. The return throw from Montgomery. So Martin is out swinging a fly ball left field. Long run over toward the foul line. Ben Tendy will make the catch in foul ground. That’s a fourth strike out. All on curve balls for Taj Bradley. First time through the order. Carol will Edgar Caro sends this one deep to right center field. It continues to carry and it goes off the wall. Caro scoots to second and the White Socks have a runner at second for the second straight inning. He’s in scoring position for Kyle Teal on the ground and up through the middle. Kyle Teal with the single. Carol’s waved in and it’s the Socks striking first. A one- nothing lead here in this third inning. So me in a two-out situation. Teal at second and Montgomery at first. Boy, there’s a massive space between the center fielder and right fielder. As big as you’ll ever see. Me. This one hit to the gap and it’s going to go all the way to the wall. Teal will score as Montgomery is waved in. A two-run double for Curtis Me and the Socks take a three nothing lead here in the third. I mean, there was nobody within 40 yardds of where that ball landed. Gunner at third and now it’s going to be up to Clemens with two outs. High in the air to right field. Maidroth backing up, but Baldwin calls him off to make the grab. Maidroth rips it down the line in left field. He’s going to dig for two. A leadoff double here in this fourth inning for Chase Maidroth. His second hit of the ball game. Two down. Top of the order ground ball weak hit second base and that will retire Carol. Back-to-back walks from Cannon. Let’s see if the Twins can finally break through here against the White Sox pitcher down three. Strike three call. The change up and there’s out number two. So two on, two out, no hits in the inning. Now faces Ryan Fitzgerald. Now they need to hit try to get back in this game. And a base hit to center. Walner will round third and score as Austin Martin takes third base and Ryan Fitzgerald comes up with a two-on run scoring knock and the Twins are down two. Now Kaw will get a chance. He singled his last time up to left field and down a base hit. Martin is in. Fitzgerald to third. It’s now a 3-2 game. Second hit for Keshaw tonight as he drives in his 21st run. And here is hot hitting Trevor Lick. High chopper to first off the glove of Sosa backing up. The throw to first is in time and the Twins will challenge. So looks like Spikes are down. Don’t see the ball make contact and the White Socks, they’re coming back out out of the field. After review, the call on the field is overturned. The runner is safe. Minnesota retains its count. Not only a tie game, Danny, but Keshaw hustled all the way over to third base. So Mickey Gasper now batting for Ryan Jeffers. Now a base hit drive in two. There’s a line drive base hit. Here comes Kesha Lick being waved around. He’ll score. Twins lead 53. Gasper two RBI’s. This has been a spirited spirited counter punch from the Minnesota Twins. Runner at third base. But now the infield’s going to play back. It’s going to be up to Montgomery. Calls to Montgomery to straightaway center. Outman with the grab and Kyle Teal tags. He will score from third. A sackfly RBI for Coulson Montgomery and the Twins lead is down to one. One up, one down. That’ll bring up Matt Walner. Sitting on 49 career home runs. Matt Walner chopping that ball high and deep to right center and that is gone. Big league home run number 50 for the pride of Forest Rake. And the Twins have a 6-4 lead. Keshaw will end up at third and Lick to second. This is Gasper. He had the big base hit. To the right side. Knocked down, bobbled by Sosa. Race to first. And Gasper is out by a step. Keshaw scores. Third RBI for Gasper tonight. And it’s a 74 Twins lead. First and third, nobody out. Socks down three with a great opportunity here. Teal last time up blasted one deep for a rulebook double. What time is it? It is teal time. [Applause] A monster shot to right and we are tied at seven. An absolute blast as the rookie launches his sixth home run of the season. He’s a triple away from the cycle. So an RBI chance for Andrew Benendi. And at 10, he pops up the first one into center. Alman with the grab. Sosa, he’s going to challenge him. The throw coming home. Not in time. A sackfly RBI for Andrew Bennetti. And the Socks retake the lead 8-7 here in the seventh. So they’re on the corners now. And Brooks Baldwin will be the ninth man to bat here in the seventh. 1-1. Baldwin lines towards center and Outman will make the catch. And what do we have here? Thanks. Somebody must have called a bark because well my dro’s on second base now. CB Buckner called a bark. 97. All right, here’s Keshaw. He’s three for four. Just the man to start a rally. Have to get on first. The one two swung on. Little excuse me roller back towards him. Kishel can fly. Picked up by Teal. Throws from his seat. Throws wide and Keshell beats it out. Fast speed shows up every day. Four hit game. Luke Keshaw and Sosa’s in scoring position for Coulson Montgomery. Swinging a high deep drive right center field for Montgomery. Gone. That one went a long way into the upper deck. And look where this thing ends up. Oh my. I mean, that is way up there. There’s only one person up there. The fan didn’t even move. Cody Clemens will bat against right-hander Steven Wilson. Now Clemens with a drive into right field. This one carrying towards the dock and that is gone. Number 15 for Cody and the Twins are down three and the Twins are down to their final strike. Two-2 grounded up the middle. Montgomery is throw and that’s ball game. White Socks for the first time in franchise history complete a fourgame sweep over the Twins here in Minnesota. That is a season high now. Five games won in a
