Multiple Yankees Might Get SUSPENDED.. Alex Bregman Leaving Red Sox? Mets Awful Trade (MLB Recap)

In today’s MLB recap, Jazz Chisum Jr. is probably going to get fined and suspended for what he said after yesterday’s game. And Boone, he’s probably going to get fined as well for going in on an umpire. We have an immaculate inning only using sliders. That was from Mason Miller. The Angels, they’re being rewarded big time for not giving up on the former super prospect Joe Adele. Boston’s going to have a big decision to make about Alex Bregman, according to Jeff Pass, who said that it’s all but confirmed he’s going to opt out and be a free agent in 2026. And speaking of 2026 free agents, we have an update on Munitaka Murakami. The Mets have been torn up by another 2026 free agent, Ryan Hley, the newcomer. He’s looked like Ryan’s toys review out there since being traded to the Mets. Cubs rookie Kate Horton is kind of running away with the NL rookie of the year. Not so fast, says Isaac Collins of the Brewers. And wait until you see the Jays and Reds game. It was a crazy back and forth one. So, we’ll talk about all of that and more in today’s MLB recap. I recap every baseball game almost every single day. So, keep growing the game with me by leaving likes and hitting that subscribe button. Recap is also brought to you by SeatGeek and Underdog Fantasy, but more on that later. We have some breaking news to begin today’s MLB recap. The number 46 overall prospect in all of baseball, Brandon Sprro, is being called up by the Mets. He joins Nolan Mlan and join the Tong as Mets freak starting pitchers to make their debuts over the last month. Now, Sprro was ranked higher to begin the season, but he regressed to start 2025. So, he actually fell behind Mlan and Tong in the prospect rankings. But according to scouts, Sprrot’s best pitch is his change up and he’s gotten up to 98 mph on the fastball because of course he has. Maybe they’re thinking about sending Kodai to the miners because he just has not been the same since a hamstring strain in June. He has a 6.6 Ray his last eight starts. They might be thinking about sending Kodai down just to get a fresher breath air and reset. So because we just talked Mets, let’s see what they did yesterday against the Tigers. It was a good back and forth game for a minute. Jake Rogers drove in one, then Pete Alonzo drove in one. Riley Green drove in two. Mark Ventos drove in one. Even if he had matched with two, Carrie Carpenter would have won it regardless. Scary Carrie with a three-run home run off of Ryan Helley. He is fully broken. He allowed 12 earned runs with the Cardinals this year after allowing 15 earn runs all of 2024. He’s already allowed 14 earn runs with the Mets in just 11 innings. That has been a rough rough rough trade so far. After all of that, it kind of makes sense why the Mets are calling up Sprro because they need some depth because Kodi has been falling off. Helley’s been awful and the Reds, they’re fighting for their lives in the wild card. So, it’s going to be a big series. Oh no, the Mariners are actually folding like it’s getting bad and Rays fans, they’re doing nothing but enjoying it because they get to say that they’ve won six games in a row. Camaro, that’s RBI number 101. That started a parade of RBI singles and sack flies. Just one run after the next after the next. Yande Diaz had five base hits in this game, by the way. And Camo, he got up to 103 RBI’s in the same game. And that started a little streak of two-run base hits as Hunter Fiducia, that is a real name. He matched Junior with a three RBI game. They had plenty of runs to make these Cal Raleigh and JRod RBI’s mean nothing. Second half, JRod is a completely different human. I’m not joking. He has a 737 OPS in his career in the first half. It’s over 900 in the second half while he’s basically hitting 300. He has 28 home runs and 24 stolen bases on the year with nine outs above average. The Mariners, they’ve lost three games in a row, though. But the Rays, they’re just two games back of Seattle in the wild card. The only good news for Mariners fans is that the other two surging AL wild card teams, the Rangers and the Royals, they’ve lost multiple games as well. Sometimes it’s just better to be lucky than good. I mean, just ask the Astros. They had an umpire on their side yesterday. We’ll get to that in a second. Joe Adell won this game all by himself. And that’s not even me being dramatic or cute. He drove in all four runs as the Angels won four to three. This is why you do not give up on super prospects. This is why Henry Davis of the Pirates is getting so much leash. Joe Adell has 33 home runs and 90 RBI’s. He has a home run in three straight games and an almost 900 OPS since the end of May. Reed Deetmirs, another former super prospect with two more strikeouts for his third save. Adele spoils Ryan Burgger or Burgert, I don’t remember how to say his last name. He went one hit with six strikeouts. Completely forgot to mention that after that L, the Royals, they’re tied with the Rays at two and a half games back in a lost season. Zack Allen finding the strikeout stuff again is a big big sign of good things to come in 2026 if you’re a Diamondbacks fan. He had a couple of strikeouts early. Now it’s one- nothing on a Mareno single. Burger, he gifted them another run on a McCarthy grounder that he just botched. And Gallon after throwing six more shut out, he’s thrown a quality start in three straight games. He has 20 strikeouts his last 18 innings, which isn’t anything like crazy, but for Zack Gallon, that’s really good for what 2025 has meant for him. The Rangers ran into two outs on the bases later in the seventh inning. And Jake Woodford converted his third save. Somehow the Diamondbacks held on despite the final 21 hitters going hitless. Arizona is five and a half games back. So still technically alive. The Rangers after losing two in a row, they’re back to a game and a half behind of Seattle. Jazz might get suspended for what he said after the game following this one, but he also might appeal it like Matt Chapman is doing. And there’s Matt. Because he’s appealing, he’s allowed to play and he swatted a home run 450 ft. Mind you, Devers, Adamus. So, I don’t know if Adamus has been suspended or not, but he’s in there. Flores, they all drove in runs as well. So, it’s already four nothing San Francisco, which changed in a hurry. The Rockies, they put down that Uno flip plus five card. If you’ve played Uno Flip, you know exactly what I’m talking about. There was four singles from Doyle, Freeman, Goodman, and then Jordan Beck. The flip. What? The script completely flipped. There we go. It’s 54 Rockies. And yeah, yeah, there were more singles in this game than a Tinder app in Nashville. Patrick Bailey had an RBI. Elliot Ramos had an RBI. It’s back to a 6-5 San Francisco lead. And it’s about to be way more than that now. Matt Chapman, he pummeled out his second of the game. This time, a three-run home run. Then the rookie Drew Gilbert ripped another one. He has such an angry aggressive swing. Kind of reminds me of Addison Barger, but he’s just not quite as big or fast. The Rockies, the rallying again. Tovar had a sackfly before a two-run Hunter Goodman double. So Goodman has seven RBI’s his last two games, 83 on the season. Jordan Beck, he’s been so good this year. That’s what we call a Louisiana by you. 96 pass Jordan Beck. Ryan Walker has 14 saves. The Giants have won four games in a row. They’re four games back of October. Just for some context to start this Yankees and Astros game, home play umpire Brian Walsh missed 21 calls in this game. 15 of them went against the Yankees. This game was decided by one run, so you got to watch all of it. Now, the Yankees had a fast start. This was Stanton’s first hit in six games. That’s his 18th home run. went way out like upwards of the train tracks. We’re talking about Austin Wells. He’s been a 300 hitter the last month. That was his 20th home run, by the way. So, he just became the sixth Yankee this year with 20. Vulpi has 19. Stanton has 18. So, they can make it eight Yankees hitters by the end of the year with 20 or more home runs. That is ridiculous. JP3, Jeremy Pena, he beamed one out to left field and you’re dawn. He tied it with a pepper. Stanton’s out there looking like a newborn baby giraffe. He took eight full decades to get this ball in and then the throw was way offline. Devin Williams. Yikes. A basis sort of walk to blow another game. He had three walks alone in this inning. Devon, he got ejected after coming out the game. Boon’s ejected as well. Boon, he was screaming, “You effing stink. You effing stink.” The neck veins came out and everything. Pรฑena, his second RBI of the game. He’s almost batting 3-10 on the season. And now Camilo Dval is about to fully melt down. That is a bo. He never came set. He just does not know how to pitch with runners in scoring position. It seems like he almost gets stressed out. He had a wild pitch. Like what is going on with Camilo? After that, Yordon had a base hit for his first five career game, but no RBI came of it. Astros fans are thinking, um, I wish that we did have another RBI because Bellinger made it a one-run game. His magical 2025 continue with a three-run blast off of Brian Abrau. Belly has 27 home runs, 86 RBI’s, and he’s been a wizard out in the outfield on defense and at first base sometimes. Jazz, oh, that’s off the plate. It’s not off the plate by much. It’s a little too close to take, but he’s already in with Brian Walsh. Now again, I do want to mention that Brian Walsh missed 21 calls. 15 of them were against the Yankees. So according to the umpire scorecard on Twitter, there were plus 1.4 runs in favor of Houston. And if you look at the final box score, 8 to7. Yeah, the umpire, he played a big role in this game. So big that Jazz Chisom Jr. was still fuming after the game. He went on Twitter. I can’t exactly remember if he tweeted anything himself like a normal post, but someone said something on Twitter and then he responded with SMD. If you know what that means, you know what that means. He also retweeted a post about the umpire being trash. I know how MLB works. This is a fine and suspension 100%. He’s gonna appeal the suspension and play a few games, then take one against a bad team. That’s how it’s going to go. But Jazz, to me, he’s 100% going to get suspended and fine. This Red Sox game was honestly the first time that Socks fans have really felt the full sting of the Raphael Diver trade because Roman Anthony, he’s been a top 10 player in baseball since Rafie left. He’s out for the remainder of the regular season and one of their big fishes in that trade. Jordan Hicks, I mean, it looks like a full-blown salary dump at this point because he gave up four to the Guardians. He’s been awful with the Red Sox. Gabriel Arus is such a fun player because he doesn’t get on base, but he plays amazing defense and he only hits perfect perfect mammoth home runs. Quani finally broke out. He had a three basic game and an RBI. He’s been awful for like two months now. There was a catcher interference. There was a wild pitch and then after those two mistakes, a Jiren Durant error. What even was this second inning if you’re a Red Sox fan? So Jiren has negative3 outs above average after a monster, no pun intended, 10 outs above average last year. Joey Cantillo, seven strikeouts over six. He was very mean to one of the worst Boston lineups I’ve ever seen. And uh yeah, the Guardians, they’re three games back of the playoffs. More Boston talk. According to Jeff Pass, we have a bunch of different updates. Alex Bregman, he is set to join Kyle Tucker and Kyle Schwarber, as well as Pete Alonzo. Those four guys are 100% going to be free agents in 2026, according to Jeff Passen, as well as Cody Bellinger and Monitaka Murakami. Right now, he’s batting 310 with 17 home runs in 46 games overseas. He’s going to be 26 years old next year when he’s ready to be a free agent and he’s ready for 200 plus million dollars. So, it’s going to be a wild wild off season. Make sure you guys subscribe because we’re not going to miss any updates. The Yankees and Red Sox both lost. So, the Jays, they can finally put some extra distance between them and the rest of the AL East. We’ll see. They teed off five times. Wait, wait, who did the Reds? They teed off for five runs early. It’s already 5 nothing off of Shane Bieber, by the way. This is by far his worst start in years. Springier, he’s not going to win MVP, but he’s going to get top five MVP votes. He has 27 home runs with a 307 batting average and 16 stolen bases. Dalton Vo, he would be an eight, nine, maybe even 10 F4 player. If he was able to stay healthy and do this since the jump, he has 18 home runs and eight outs above average on defense in 51 games. Kirk, no one’s on base, but he doesn’t care. He just breaks regardless. That was the third home run of the game for the Blue Jays. Make it four. Addison Barger, he evened the score. He’s been in a pretty long slump over the last few weeks. Same with Vlatty. Although Vlatty did break out with a three hit game right before this game and he stayed hot. So the whole AT five times. That was about the Blue Jays. Vlatty’s 22nd home run is the fifth home run of the game for the Jays. Vlatty’s up to a 140 OPS plus. Bieber, he helped save the bullpen big time cuz the bullpen for the Jays have stunk. He went six innings after really just being bad himself. And after some sack flies, it’s 85 Jays. 8-6 on another Noel Vi Marte RBI, his third of the game. Ellie, he ends the rally with a strikeout. Then Barger and the boys went off again. So Barger has a four RBI game. Vlatty also had a multi RBI game as well. But that last Vlatty moment happened after Cincinnati sprayed three more RBI doubles in the eighth inning. The Jays bullpen is becoming an actual and legit liability. Luckily, their offense scored 13. The Jays are 81 and 59, no thanks to their bullpen. The Reds, they’re back to being an even 70 and 70. We got some cannonballs in this Dodgers and Pirates game. Show was scratched with I guess that sound like Mike Tyson. Shoi was scratched with I guess there we go a cold or something like that. EMTT Sheen. He’s out there. Brian Reynolds worked a 12 pitch at bat. Ends with a home run. That’s how MLB the show works for me. anytime I face a guy with one of those like flawless 50 time flawless 10 and0 banners or a World Series banner. Brian Reynolds by the way has 34 doubles and 15 home runs but only a 99 OPS plus. Braxton Ashcraft he just got out of a log jam backto-back strikeout to the bases load and then he popped up Enrique Hernandez. Andrew McCutchen he has 13 home runs and 332 for his career. Joey Bart, he smoked a dart off the wall. Honestly, the Pirates they went easy as Dennis Santana hit every single emote in the book on his 13th save. They win back-to-back games against the Dodgers. San Diego could really use a win here, not only to gain a game, but so they can not be losers of four straight. Oh boy, Nester Cortez did he just did not get the memo. Jackson Holiday and Colton Cowser, they blasted off. Jackson has 16 home runs and 14 stolen bases. Cowser, he went 420 ft on that three-run moonshot. Kobe Mayo, the absolute behemoth of a human. He goes backto back with Colton. He has elite bat speeds and he’s walking 9% of the time. And Alex Jackson, he makes it three home runs in a row. Nester Cortez has allowed 13 home runs and eight starts this year. Manny are the Padres’s mounting a comeback. That’s a two-run home run. The Padres scored a few more. And Nando, he belted one 415 ft. He is so close to having multiple seasons of 2020 2020. That’s 20 home runs, 20 stolen bases, and 20 defensive run saves. Mason Miller, man, the momentum is completely flipping. That’s nine sliders in a row with eight whiffs. That is the 121st immaculate inning in baseball history. Raone Lauriano, if you’re not looking, if you have the ability to, please look at the screen. Raone, he takes it back. That was a crazy web gem. And then the Padres’s run out of Felix Felicis. If you know, you know. That is liquid luck. Aras had a weak topper. Yanir Keno converted his second save. The Padres’s have dropped four in a row. They’re two and eight their last 10. Question for you guys. So, South DK in an RBI double, right? And Bader threw it to third. Whose fault is this? because they gave the air to Harrison Bader who in my opinion kind of one hopped it perfectly to Alec Bow who just straight up missed it. I think that’s more on Bow, but the box score it’s never going to agree. Isaac Collins, he wants that dang rookie of the year. His OPS is over 800 and he is five outs above average on defense. That is a very very valuable player, let alone for a rookie Bryce Terang. I guess he wants to keep it going in September. Remember guys, subscribe to Fuzzy Gaming because I’m almost positive Tang is going to get the best second baseman card ever. We have another RBI extra base hit. Aaron Nola, man, he allowed six more runs. He has an almost seven RA. Weston Wilson, hello, my lord. 444 feet on this two-run no doubt home run. Jared co something. I can’t say his full name because I don’t know if YouTube is going to demonetize me, but that’s his first save of the year. The Mets lost, so not really a big deal for Phillies fans right there. Isaac Collins wants rookie of the year, but he’s got some stiff competition. We have some other candidates in this next game. Drake Baldwin of the Braves. Kate Horton of the Cubs. Willie Castro struck first. So Cad’s up one. Now we have Drake Baldwin versus Cade Dansby. He steals a base hit and that preserved Cad’s no hitter. He went a casual five no hit frames with six strikeouts and then they took him out. Kade allowed 24 earn runs his first nine starts. He was not great, but since that point, he’s allowed eight earn runs total over his last 11 starts. That’s a 1.2 rate over his last 60-ish innings. Ben Brown, he completed the no hitter through six, but no, no, no more. Aussie had a single. Michael Harris, I don’t know if he walked or had another base hit, but two were on for Hosung Kim. Is this the first home run for the Braves all year? It might be. Hon Kim deleted that baseball one away off the bat for a three-run game winner. Nick Allen, I respect his defense, but he could never do that. Just an insane move that they were able to pick up Hasson Kim. Nacho Alvarez had an RBI. Alb now has back-to-back games of the home run and two base hits and three of his last four. He has eight home runs and 34 RBI’s his last 45 games. CEOs Carlos Santana the newcomer. He ends it with the strikeout. The Cubs they’re five and five their last 10. First name Nick, last name Curts. He’s back for his 28th home run as the A’s lost 5 to1. Wilson Contras, he backpacked the Cardinals offense with a big four RBI performance. He had a two-run single. I’m going to put that in air quotes because Brent Rooker, he’s showing exactly why he DH’s 90% of the time. Wilson wanted two bases, but he got hosed trying for those two. Matthew Liberator. I will be tipping my cap to him. Seven strikeouts and five and a third nasty innings. He’s only 25 years old. And remember, he had 84 strikeouts and 64 innings in TripleA two years ago. So, he’s trying to find that arm slot and the right pitch sequence all over again. More lefties coming up. Nolan Gorman, he was one for his last 25 coming into this game. He had a home run and three base hits. Nick, I mean, some righties wish that they could go this far by pulling it. Nick went that far the other way. He has 28 home runs. He’s officially cracked the 180 OPS plus mark. Wilson Contreras even more help. I mean, Sodi just straight up missed it. So, all four RBI’s were credited as earn runs. Yeah, right. But that’s just how baseball works. Jojo Romero, he got a five out save as Thomas JC. He completed the web gem. The Cardinals have won two games in a row. They’re five and a half games back. So, they’re just barely staying alive. Same with the Diamondbacks. They’re tied at five and a half games back. National speedster Nazi Nunes had gone 74 games to begin his big league career without a home run. Naturally, he had his first and second in the same game. After a Luis Garcia two-run knock and wait, Jorge Alfaro is still in the big leagues. That’s an RBI double. I didn’t think that he was in the big leagues anymore. Nunes got his first ever to go. Dalon Lio stayed hot with another riby. And Brady House, he’s trying to remind folks why he was a former first round, not even just first round, an 11th overall pick. He’s batting .295 with six runs batted in his last 10 games. Joey Wemer had a two-run home run and then Nazim took back over. It’s an RBI single and then a two-run home run. He has two outs above average. That was after having two last year as well in a short sample size. He has a very good eye. I’m not saying that he should be the short stop, but uh negative 26 outs above average since last year. CJ Abrams might have the Nationals thinking just put Nazine as a nine hitter and use him defensively cuz he’s a whole lot better. You’re going to save a bunch of runs. This is the first sweep at home for the Nationals all year. Who’s going to win a World Series first? Washington or Miami? I’m going to throw in the White Socks in this conversation as well. They are littered with mid20year-olds who are hungry for success. Edgar Caro. He’s one of those guys. He’s been so good as a rookie. That’s only his fifth home run, but he hits baseballs hard. So, I think the power is going to go up. He has a 350 on base because he almost never chases at bad pitches. Speaking of hitting things hard, Austin Martin ran forever and then hit the wall hard, robbing Kyle Teal of a double. The Socks, they ended up rallying after a Royce RBI that put Sebie Matthews up three to one. Zebie went six innings with five strikeouts, but it meant nothing because Brooks Baldwin, he snapped his bat for a second run. And Michael A. Taylor, he ripped a go-ahead double down the line and then Jordan Leisure, he converted the save. The White Socks are one win away from sweeping the Twins for the first time since 2016. It’s almost a decade ago since that happened. And there we have it, another recap in the books. Make sure you guys leave a like and subscribe if you enjoyed. Back it up. Laps up and he’s got it. And this is line to right. Barger going over and he’s got it. Drive caught by Alex B.

  1. Imagine making 21 errors at your job and having 0 consequences.. even crazier the people who got affected by your errors are the one who will actually get punished for reacting to your incompetence.. smh!! How are umps supposed to get better when they don't face any suspensions, fines , or anything like that. For all we know that ump was betting on the Astros because Godamm 15 calls in favor of Houston and 6 calls in favor of the Yankees?? The month isn't working we have the technology to call balls and strikes ACCURATELY so why not use that and get rid of this BUMS behind the plate once and for all!!!! #MakeTheGameBetter

  2. We traded a 300 million dollar player to make room for Bregman if he canโ€™t work out a deal I hope nothing but the worst for him heโ€™s a loser leaving after 1 year that was actually good

  3. Really dude nobody cares about Mason Miller immaculate inning that didnโ€™t matter at all after the Padres get destroyed by the Last Place Orioles three games in a row stop itโ€™s just stupid๐Ÿ˜‚ and did you just said that jazz Chisholm is gonna take one for a bad team they got the same record dude what are you even talking about what๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  4. Supported you for years now brother. Im proud of how far youve come. If I could give any words of improvement, its this: Please let the inward thing go. Bringing it back up – especially in a word nothing like that – is rather childish, and I know most of us have graduated middle school. Tough comment aside, ty for sharing Fuzzy.

  5. Honestly, every MLB player needs to understand that there's a line between giving the umps notice that the call might not be great, and getting disciplined for incorrectly arguing a call and not letting it go. Jazz is one of those players who really needs to know the difference, and so far he chalks his behavior up to wanting to win the game. That's not taking accountability, that's making excuses.
