Yankees vs. Astros Game Highlights (9/4/25) | MLB Highlights
The Yankees have taken three of the five games, these two teams have played. So this is an important one in case of any kind of tie as well. So the Yankees lead it but the Astros could even it up. Christian javier gets the ball for the Astros his fifth start since coming back from tommy John surgery and his last start was his best six no hit innings on Friday against the Angels. Javier picks up a strikeout to start this one getting Grisham for the first out. That’s going to bring up Aaron Judge does not have great numbers against javier. 0 to 13 with seven strikeouts and two walks and misses Lowe with a changeup. So Judge walks with two out and that brings up Cody Bellinger. Bellinger connected for a big three run home run in the ninth inning against Brian Abreu and grounds this one stays there two hops for Christian walker. He will take it unassisted and christian javier gets through the first one. Walk one left on. Here’s the power lefty carlos Rodon has certainly done his part this year. He’s won four straight and he is 4 to 0 with a 2.51 a, in 11 regular season starts against Houston. He’s pitched against them very well, quick two outs too big coming up and he’s seven for 29 off of Rodon Lifetime playing and a miss very efficient first inning, two ground outs and a strikeout. Great move on that. There’s a strike on the outside corner. Wells had taken a step to first and I can’t blame him. I mean, that pitch was a strike but it was further out than the pitch that was called ball one, the 31 and that’s a strike at the knees. Wells had once again turned and taken a couple of steps to first and once again, he’ll have to sheepishly head back to the plate and there’s a pitch violation allowing Wells to work a walk with javier, seeing it winding down, stepped off to try and reset it, but with nobody on base, you can’t do that. Time is the charm. Third time he goes up the line for real. So two out base runner here for the Yankees just like in the first inning, see if they can convert Anthony Volpe trying to dig himself out of an offensive hole here, line drive. It’s a base hit to left field for Volpi hanging, breaking ball of Volpi and the Yankees have two on with two out. Here’s ryan Mcmahon, two hits and five at bats in the series seven for his last 25 on line drive to right field. It will get down. Well, staying around third, there’s a throw to the plate. It is off line ringing the belt to get things going for the Yankees Ryan Mcmahon single with two outs. It’s 1 to 0 New York here in the second inning. A couple of hits after that walk , it led to the first one of this game for the Yankees against Christian run 2 to 3 1st innings for Rodin. He faces the cleanup hitter. Carlos Correa drives this one to right center that’s going to be over the head of Bellinger and off the wall. Carlos Correa with double number 24 on the year picks on the first pitch here in the second innings out. Number one, here’s Jan Diaz right handed hitting catcher Mounds this one to third Mcmahon. Very good over there makes a throw that gets away from Ben Rice wasn’t that far off the bag. Rice was trying to keep his foot on the bag and never secured the catch. Remember, Rice is just learning the position. He’s a catcher by trade. Now, the Astros with runners on 1st and 3rd and 1 out and Cam smith the batter and he pops it up on the infield playable for Rice. First baseman backs up. Now Chisholm calls them off and it’s makes the catch and Iive out there to away trying to pick up Ben R. So now it’s up to Ramona on hit to the right side down to the throw the first in time and they get out of the Astros strand. A couple of runners, nobody has had a game where they hit five balls this year. 103 MPH or better until Jordan did yesterday. Cleared for takeoff. Air Jordan makes it a 11 game. He didn’t hit that one nearly as hard as any of the others that he hit. That was only 100 and one. He must have gotten jammed and had been more than a month since Rodon had given up a homer and now Jordan gets him. He is such a beast. Oh, he forgot the bullpen. Uh Oh boys, I love you. The bullpen. He acted like they just won something and it’s a two out walk and now it’s ball gets away , hits the second great tag by and a really good throw by wells as he gets out to be trying to advance. He got banged with a helmet on as well. Both of them came up, shaken up a bit. Junior exited after batting in the fourth inning. It was just announced that he was diagnosed with contusions on both of his knees that occurred on two separate play. Here’s ryan Mcmahon Mcmahon driving in the run for the Yankees with an RB I single to write his first time up breaking ball and that’s it high in the air pretty deep to center going back on it. Dubón that ball is gone, a home run for Mcmahon and the Yankees take a 21 lead Mcmahon with home run number 17 and he’s driven in both runs for the Yankees. This evening, we’ve been waiting to see the type of power that Mcmahon is known for his bat speed. He’s got this kind of pop after retiring eight in a row, the home run by man and now the single by Grisham, another blistered baseball. Grisham will go to second that will bring up judge fastball outside ball four and that’s the third walk issued by javier. Loads him up for Cody Bellinger and the Yankees have an opportunity to give Rodon a lot of room hit sharply. A base hit to right field. Grisham scores. They’re going to hold rice at third. The throw goes to walker. It’s an RB I single for Bellinger and the Yankees lead 3 to 1 that’s going to do it for christian javier knocks in a run and knocks out Javier who’s now allowed five straight to reach base beginning with the ryan Mcmahon home run right now. Yankees looking to build on a 31 advantage bases loaded de Los santos in to face Stanton Stanton zero for two. He’s one for his last one, got a huge strikeout for and decent for the second out of the inning. So here’s Caballero. This will be his first at bat taking over for Chism after the injury bases loaded. 32 count two outs and a pitch clock violation. Can you believe that? So, a walk for Cleo coming home from third is Rice and the Yankees lead 4 to 1. Cabal still had time to acknowledge the pitcher. But if the pitcher comes set in the second position too quickly , Then it could be a violation. He’s coming set before Caballero has acknowledged him. Caballero still got four seconds. So that’s what it was probably, he came set too soon that he caught it in the third base umpire Walsh said no and that is not a reviewable play. That’s a bad break on a ball that looked like it was caught and they are going to rule that an error on Mcmahon. Now, the Astros have the tying run at the plate and Carlos bouncing ball softly hit left side, fielding it to second for one on the first and it gets past Rice. Alvarez comes home and scores. It’s 4 to 2. That should have been a double play. Instead, the ball gets away from Rice and the Astros get a run defense is killing him 12 times. They’ve lost after leading in the seventh inning or later. And that’s the sixth most in the major leagues. This ball hit pretty well to the left sending Stanton back. He is going to look up. Sanchez makes it a one run game. Sanchez gets a run the first batter based by the Yankees bullpen tonight. Go to the bullpen Weaver’s night is over allowing three hits and a run. He’s responsible for the two runners on in a one run game. Third pitcher for the Yankees. Fernando Cruz altuve at the plate with runners on 1st and 2nd down by 13 to two swing and a Miss, he got him on the splitter. A pumped up fernando Cruz gets the big strikeout second walk of the inning for or the Yankees have runners on 1st and 2nd. Here’s Mcmahon RB I single and a solo home run ground ball and knocked down by Pena but it kicks away from him. Dominguez will score. It’s a big RB I single for Mcmahon his third hit of the night and the Yankees are up 533 ribbies, three hits for Mcmahon and now top of the order, here’s Grisham deep to right field. There it goes a long home run for Grisham his 30th of the year. It’s a three run shot and the Yankees lead 8 to 3 Yankees breathing a little bit easier with the four runs here in the eighth. What a season for Trent Grisham not going softly into the night of good swings on David Bednar from the bottom of the order runners at 2nd and 3rd. They are being asked to check the bat of Taylor Trammell. Of course, we’d have a situation like this with this crew in this series in this game. They’re going to confiscate the bat. That’s the authenticator David and they’re going to authenticate that bat interesting, but at this point it’s a double and now it’s Jordan who’s three for four tonight with a home run, a double and he scored twice. Little Q shot that’s going to get past in the left field. A run will score Jordan Alvarez back to back nights with a four hit game drives in another run and the Astros now down by four that is outside ball, four bases are loaded and Correa will come to the plate as the tying run huge pitch right here. 3 to 2 to Correa, the inside corner, two huge strikeout of Correa. So the last hope for the Astros is Christian walker. He is zero for four tonight. Miss the Yankees win, they hold on the Astros lead the bases loaded and the Yankees come into Houston and take two out of three.

Los árbitros ya no son los de antes imparciales
I can't Believe it!!! I can't Believe it…
rice sold first game he sold this game
Brian Walsh needs investigated.
They say there's something wrong with Trammell's bat.I think it's stupid, the outfielders are being too sensitive just because he's an Astros player.
I can't hit trammels or anything so it doesn't matter.Grisham, who hasn't hit 30 home runs so far, is more suspicious.
It would be suspicious if Trammell was hitting a home run every game, but that's not the case.
Way too much Jesus cult b.s. in baseball. All those turdworlders..
Grisham is new Houston 's Daddy
