What’s going on guys? Costy with pickdogs.com and I’m here with Jay Yang for another edition of the Yang Angle. Jay, how are you doing today? Hey Costy, the NFL is finally here. I’m excited about that, but the baseball isn’t finished just yet. So, another day of Yang Angle is here. So, let’s enjoy it and let’s do it. So, just to answer some of the comments before we get into the free prediction. Um, a lot of people have been saying that the pitchers that unfortunately when we’re releasing the games the day before, the pictures get pulled and they get scratched and it becomes a no bet. Guys, it’s just part of September baseball. This is just what happens. They have listed pitchers, they move them literally hours or five hours before um first pitch. And because we record the night before, it completely throws off the algorithm. So, if it happens to be, that’s just part of September baseball. I can’t say it enough. We do our best to try to give you guys an absolutely free prediction and and give make you guys money, even if you’re just watching the videos. What I can say, if you happen to purchase Jay’s games because he releases them the day of, those pitching adjustments and those pitching differences actually are worked on. and Jay updates his games based on the updated pitchers. So, this will happen um until we get to October and then we basically know exactly who’s pitching in the playoffs. So, just wanted to clear that up. It just happened to happen a little bit more often this week. Well, I kind of been saying it for a while. September baseball, this is just what we have to deal with. So, uh with that being said, let’s do the breakdown here. Boston, Arizona, Tol and Rodriguez are currently the listed pitchers and we do have a prediction um and Yangle on this play for you guys. Yes. So, Red Sox versus Arizona to versus Rodriguez. Who hope this the starting pitcher don’t change here. So, Red Sox hands the ball to Payton to who has been solid in limited action. the this lefty keeps hitters or bellins with a heavy fast ball changer mix and has shown in his big league exposure. So versus an Arizona Arizona lineup that’s been below league average in OPS versus left-handed pitching, I think Tol has a shot. I think he’s actually a favorable uh has a favorable matchup to settle in. So Arizona counters with Rodriguez uh who’s been inconsistent on the road. his erra and whip has have spiked and his tend tendency to issue free passes has put the bullpen in early stress. So that’s a dangerous formula versus Boston offense and that’s been t who has been top five in OBP over the past month. So I’m taking Red Sox to win and the reason the main reason I I like uh Payton to I mean Red Sox is what I like the Payton toll as a starting pitcher. So I studied him. Uh let me give you a few additional reasons uh why we should take Boston. So uh Payton uh his he was selected second round in 2024 minor league 3.04 04 RA.99 whip, 133 strikeouts over 91 innings. He debuted and pitched 5.1 innings allowing two earn runs and with three hits, two walks and eight strikeouts. So, he’s starting at in the big league was amazing. So, and um lastly, he averaged he’s averaging about 96 to 98 miles per hour with elite spin and extension, flat release angle. his cutter slider change up show promise and improvement. So, uh I think the Red Sox will limit his workload. Uh but while the Rodriguez gets runs, uh Red Sox will be able to lead the game and early and finish the game with a W. So, take Red Sox to win. There you have it, guys. Make sure the pictures are listed as always. Tol and Rodriguez with the Red Sox uh winning this matchup as you see the odds on the screen. Now, um as we’re heading into football, um we had a couple clients already join here recently because they were ex they were excited about your NFL football breakdown because just as good as you break down MLB, you’re going to have the same concepts for football.
