Did Emmet Sheehan Just STEAL This Rookie’s First Hit Ball?? 😲⚾ #Dodgers #Pirates #MLB #wtf

Emit Shihan may have just done one of the worst things you could do to a rookie on complete accident. Cam Deaney is a 28-year-old rookie for the Pirates that has played in the Miners for six seasons. So, when he finally made it, you can imagine how incited it must have been to get his first career at bat. Not to mention his first career hit. It was that first MLB hit though where the controversy would start. After Deainy reached first, the Pirates clearly wanted the ball to mark the hit in the occasion. And when given a new ball to switch it out though, EMTT Shihan proceeded to shield the ball with his glove as he switched them, meaning that the first hit ball remained in play while Shihan threw the replacement ball to the dugout. Or at least that’s what it looked like. You be the guess, though. Do you think this was done on purpose? Let me know in the comments below.

Emmet Sheehan was caught on camera switching out the replacement ball and Cam Devaney’s first career hit… What is your opinion?

In my opinion it’s not looking good for Sheehan in the court of public opinion…

  1. Not gonna make any difference. Many “heirlooms” are not genuine. Joe DiMaggio’s trainer used to sign autographs for him in the clubhouse, for example.

  2. This video doesn't clearly show if the pitcher switched the two balls in my opinion. If it could be definetly proven he did then the question becomes did he do it intentionally or not. In your commentary you said he did make the switch. You didn't expicitly say he did it on purpose but that seemed imo to be your implication.

  3. Emmet Sheehan you CHUMP WHAT A CLASSLESS MOVE – to say it was NOT INTENTIONAL is a complete lie the camera even shows him do it looking at the ball POS idiot
