But let’s get to this one. Between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Los Angeles Dodgers for the Pittsburgh Pirates, it is Paul Skins listed as a starter in this one. While the Dodgers will counter with Blake Snell and Snell, you know, coming off of a decent start last time out, a couple shy of a quality start, but still a loss nonetheless against the Arizona Diamondbacks. You know, the uh the Dodgers ended up losing that game three to nothing. And you know, I I think that the Dodgers could have some issues here. Paul Sch still viewed by many as one of, if not the best pitcher in baseball. I know obviously a lot of folks will still consider, you know, Tariq Scubble uh as the as the lead dog in that in that race and in that argument. Um but, you know, I still think that Scooble, you know, he does pitch well and that’s and you know, that’s all well and good that he’s been able to to do what he’s done. He’s won the S Young with said Paul Ske just seems to have it all. And you know, the Dodgers in the last two weeks against right-handed pitching, you know, below uh below league average, just outside the bottom 10, you know, in uh in in batting average against right-handed pitching in the last two weeks. Team OPS numbers there above league average and isolated power numbers as well. But I’ll tell you, Sk has not given up much. He still has an RA just over two this season. And his best work by far has been done at PNC Park um just overall this season. A 1.65 65 erra a 188 opponent’s batting average, you know. So, I trust Paul Ske at home in this one, and I also trust this Pirates offense at home. It’s where they’ve started to come alive. Now, you look at the Pirates and their numbers in the last two weeks against left-handed pitching. It’s a Pirates offense that’s top 10 in team OPS, the batting average has been solid. The isolated power numbers are decent. They have a 14% walk rate, which for me is a big deal, even though it’s across a small amount of sample size. But the problem is for Blake Snell, he’s issued at least two walks in four straight starts. Control is an issue. And this is a pitcher in Blake Snell who normally prides himself on strikeouts and and pitch control. And he just has not had that in a lot of his recent starts. You know, the Pirates can make, you know, make teams pay for for putting runners on the base pass. And they’re playing some really good baseball right now. So, I’m going to roll with the uh with the Pirates in this one. I’m going to take them on the money line here. And that’s going to be my free pick.
