  7. Guys they said yeli back sometimes this weekend during the series. That’s a range of 3 games. No reason to worry because he’s not back for the first one. If he’s still out next week then yeah clench away

  17. I feel good about sweeping the road trip but I’ll take any winning trip. Also I have less faith in the Nationals than I did in the Rockies last weekend.

  19. I think the realistic best case scenario tonight is getting 7 strong innings from Priester and the offense scoring enough runs that a low-leverage guy like Carlos F can eat the last 2. They could really go for a couple games like that this series if we’re being honest so hopefully the Pirates hot streak is over.

  21. Don’t be surprised if the Pirates win a few of these, if not all. They’ve been playing really good baseball lately.

    Somehow inexplicably, they have the most shutouts in MLB this season at 17.

    I figured when I decided to come to this game at the beginning of the season I’d be watching two pretty awful teams given how our season started. I’m really pumped to see one power house and a team on the rise instead.

  27. Someone remind me, is there is a 10-day IL for pitchers too or is it only 15? I know it is only 10 for players but pitchers get 15, I wasn’t sure if pitchers could take 10 as well
