Man… I’ve been gushing over this defense all offseason and then we get rid of our safeties, Gonzo is out… first couple of weeks will be rough in the secondary.

Man there were *a lot* of “Relax, he’ll be fine for week 1” comments about a month ago.
Also, there were a lot of people who said missing all of camp wasn’t a big deal who are going to flip and say “What do you expect, he missed all of camp” if he comes back and looks rusty.
I am a little nervous after seeing the way the Cowboys picked on Adoree Jackson last night reminded me how vulnerable one bad CB can leave you.
Man I hope Meyers gives us the ball at the end of the game
Much rather have Gonzo back for next week. Just needs to get healthy, sounds like a grade 2 hammy pull which is roughly 5 weeks timeframe.
Personally, I believe we’ll be running the ball heavily in this game and keeping the defense off the field.
Realistically, how much longer could this run? He’s been out of practice for what, 6 weeks now? Are we likely looking at another 2-3 weeks?
I think Austin will be able to handle meyers and if not jones can at least lock him down to not get any extra yards since meyers is ass at yac. CD probs gonna have to take bowers and if we can stop the run we can handle them
I think the offense for the Pats is a bigger concern but that’s just me

I’m more worried about if Campbell misses. Maxx Crosby would eat Vedarian Lowe alive.
Bowers is the only real matchup threat. Have to think the plan will be Davis/safety on him. I love Meyers but he’s not exactly someone you need to gameplan for. He’s just a solid WR.
Is this kid injury prone?
Who on the Raiders are we worried that Carlton Davis can’t handle? Bowers is the problem and Gonzo wasn’t going to be covering a TE.
I genuinely would like read only access to some of these Slack chats where they brainstorm articles.
