WTAF?
so hes pretty much retired lol
Dat’s it! Fire Dat Davidson. All he got was a 5th round pick and he had to give up a guy, too.
Wait! What? Price went to the Sharks?
What a great move by Grier to pick up another asset! Always three steps ahead.
That is a insanely cheap price to get rid of a $10M cap hit.
I know why MG did this. I don’t care. I don’t give a shit how many people defend the practice. It’s Bush League. There were a few players Grier could have offer-sheeted -like The Blues offer-sheeted the Oilers players- that were actually a good fit all the way around (age, size, aptitude) for his system but he didn’t. Did he not want to make waves? Does he still have to pay his dues?
When they were fixing the LTIR they should have put an end to this ‘exploit’.
Sharks legend Carey Price
Turns out he hated Montreal. He’s coming back to play for the sharks.
Damn, would have happily given Grubauer for Price. Price is still worth more injured, unpracticed, and effectively retired.
Dis is my last game in Montréal.
😭😭
Gannon!
That’s a shame
Thats it. Sharks rebuild is over. Everyone go home. They have the cup this season.
That video tribute at the Bell Centre when the Sharks come to town will be fire!
Sharks Legend: Carey Price.
Even though I understand why the Canadiens did this, it still feels wrong somehow lol
San Jose have great tandom in net
If anyone can correct me if I’m wrong feel free to, but technically isn’t San Jose paying NOTHING.
His SB was paid by the Habs, he’s owed 2 million on base salary but with him being injured, that’s covered by insurance.
If anyone has a better/more in-depth info it would be great.
(Using my example of when I was off work for Injury and has to check in with insurance once a week so they’d “support my wages”)
I know he’s on LTIR, won’t play, and this move was a financial one, but could he potentially mentor/coach the young goalies on the roster? He is technically a member of the team. Do players traded for this reason ever have involvement of any kind with their new team?
Well, now
Why would anyone trade for him and his contract knowing he wont be playing? Seems bizarre to me. I wouldve want atleast a draft pick for him as well.
Are they’re going to print out the contract and hang it over the net ?
Just wait when Price shows up for practice. Fresh, and ready to go.
Is this gonna be like when Lundqvist was traded to Washington. He’s obviously done, but let’s trade anyway.
Serious question- does that mean price needs to report for practice and move to sj?
Can someone explain the X legend Carey Price to me? I’m clearly missing something.
