Unfortunately, I can already see what happens in the game tonight.
Hunter Brown pitches excellent. 7 IP, 2 H, 1 BB. 1 of those 2 hits results in a Jake Burger solo homer on his singular mistake pitch of the game.
Jacob deGrom also goes 7 IP, giving up 4 singles (2 of which get wiped out by a double play), and walks 2.
Stros lose 1-0 as they fail to advance a runner to third base. Mariners also lose and the division lead will stay at 3.5 games.
At least the Chiefs lost? Idk I’m trying to inject a little positivity in here. This team makes it hard to not be a gloomy Gus when watching them.

Post All Star Game. Such a lame duck offense. Outfielders suck. Cam should be in AAA. Walker has been a flop overall (.232 AVG, .698 OPS both well below his career numbers).

* Last night, in the 10th inning, we bunt the runner over to third, next guy hits a sac fly we win 4-3.

I seriously cant believe how bad we have played
Cutting the emotional attachment until they do something about the current culture, mindset, and/or management of the team. This just isn’t a competitive team at the moment. What a start to the season though. The amount of injuries is unfair.
This team is unwatchable rn. Going to do something more productive this weekend. Here’s hoping they wake the fuck up.
