[NHL Fantasy] How Many Goals Does Ovechkin Have in Him in 25-26?

  1. Enough to hit 900 but not enough for him to stick around another season to go for 1,000.

43 goals if healthy. 28 if not.

  2. The guy literally broke his leg mid season and STILL had 40+ goals.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see 40 again.

  3. I would say the under.

I feel like part of 44 goals he scored last season was because he was so close to the record that he was given more chances. I think he gets 30-35

  4. It’s all odds. Being one year older increases a bit of risk or an injury and being one year older should take away couple of goals because of reduced skating speed, stamina, shot speed, physicaly etc.

  5. 25 goals top. He will see a lot of minutes on the PP and advantageous faceoffs on the offensive side.

  6. I would guess something like 30. Can’t imagine him redoing last season. In general, I also can’t imagine, the Capitals clicking like this again this season.

  7. I thought there was no way he would hit 40 this season.

Then he broke is leg and went ahead and did it anyway.

So what the hell do I know?

  8. I think under, but only because I think he’s likely to not play a full season. He’s getting pretty old and the body can’t take 82 games of NHL hockey at that age like it can when you’re 25. Not impossible though, just look at Jagr
