#Cowboys CB Daron Bland HAS AGREED TO 4-YEAR $92 MILLION EXTENSION! #dallascowboys #attackoncowboys

Well, it looked like the Dallas Cowboys weren’t wasting any time making use of some of that extra added cap space that they freed up with the Michael Parsons trade. The Dallas Cowboys and cornerback Don Bland have agreed to a brand new four-year extension worth $92 million with $23 million APY. This puts Don Bland as the sixth highest paid quarterback in the league, coming just ahead of AJ Terrell and just behind guys like JC Horn and Jaylen Ramsay. I expect this to be the first of several moves the Cowboys are going to make to not only lock up some of the more important players that’s remaining on their roster like a Tyler Smith, Brandon Aubrey, and even maybe a George Pickins. But I wouldn’t be surprised at all if this is them trying to get some early business out of the way with some of their own guys before they start to go out there and play around on the outside market. Remember, we have four first round picks over the next two seasons with over $40 million remaining in cap space. The Cowboys are absolutely going to be aggressive. If for any other reason, it’s for Jerry’s ego and pride. He going to damn sure want to prove himself right with the massive trade they just made recently. 1. Everybody has an idea about Jerry Jones, but I’ll tell you this… he’s trying to get him another Super Bowl! That’s all he’s trying to do with his team. You don’t think he wants another Super Bowl. Of course he does. It’s not easy trying to give the players the best money and save money to get more players.

  2. Bland is another good move as contract deal, cause bland won’t have to worry about playing outside to get paid..Now he can play outside or at nickel

  3. I wish they traded micah/signed him before the draft that way he wouldve been cheap or at least wouldve had more assets but the trades growing on me

  4. Cowboys solved a breathtaking # of problems freeing them to sign the majority if not all the key players whose contracts are due or upcoming.
The key of this trade solves a massive weakness in the middle of the defense and one which I don't believe the Packers was expecting to part ways with KC.
A dt that have NFL level experience and can hold his ground and deny/neutralize the charge of the o line is what the doctor ordered. This dt is also the prototype they should be looking for/trade for in the near future. Also, they are free now to go out and get Wikins if available…
