Prior to Friday’s game, Twins coming off a loss to the White Socks 8-11, while the Royals took a win over the Angels 4 to3. And in this game, Royals are the home favorites. It is the fourth time these two teams are meeting this season, pending the outcome of game one on Friday. The season series is split at five games a piece. The Twins entered this series in really ugly form. They just got swept in four games by the White Socks. Their bullpin has been beyond atrocious and collectively the team is allowing six and a half runs a game across their last 10. The good news for Minnesota in this one though is they will have Joe Ryan on the mound. Ryan has been great on the year. 308 erra on the season and an 075 erra against the Royals this year through two starts. Now Kansas City, they’re going to have Steven Kolk on the mound. It’s only a second start since being acquired from San Diego. He is coming off a great start against the Tigers. He allowed only one earned run through six innings, but with the Padres’s, he did have a 418 RA on the year. So, we should probably expect some regression here at some point. While the Twins aren’t exactly stoking a ton of confidence in me, prior to Friday, the Royals were only hitting 165 against right-handed pitching. And Minnesota does have the better starter in this one. And actually, Minnesota’s bats have been okay through all this. It’s just been their pitching that’s been a nightmare. So, I’m going to roll with the twins to come out of their little funk here. And we’re going to take Minnesota on the money line for today’s action. And that will be it for me.
