Toronto Blue Jays vs New York Yankees – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | September 6, 2025 MLB Season

It’s a beautiful Saturday afternoon and here’s the American League East standings. Yankees lost to the Blue Jays last night, so they’re four games back. The Red Sox lost last night as well, so the Yankees remained in the top spot in the wild card. And now it is time for baseball as the New York Yankees take on the Toronto Blue Jays in the middle game of a three-game set from Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York. Pringer’s ready, heels ready. Let’s do it in the Bronx. First pitch, he jumps on it, pops it up. McMahon can’t see it. Bulby does. And he trips into foul territory to make the play. Some hits. Everything went their way last night. Fly ball right field deep going back. Bellinger. He’s there. He makes the play.4%. Yeah, it was uh it was frustrating. And there were a lot of balls that guys were just beat. And here you go again. Another ball beat into left center field by Vlad Guerrero just as they did last night. Two quick outs that man that can’t happen. Into center field. Gisham is there. A much better first inning than yesterday. Kind of a roller coaster year for Basset as you can see. And Rice hits one sharply to Guerrero. He’ll take it himself. Two down. driven deep to center field. Bartow back. Still back. He’s on the track in front of the wall. He makes the play for the fin. Dalton Vo will lead off against heel and he jumps on the first pitch. Looks like they have dinner plans. That’s packed behind the plate and well puts it away in golf very often. And uh that is deep to left field going back Dominguez and on the track he makes the play swing and a miss. Got him on the slider. First strike out for Heel. First and third. Nobody out. Here’s Dominguez. Runner goes and that is wrapped into right center field. It’s a base hit. Scoring easily is Bellinger. Jazz Chisum will go to third. An RBI single for Dominguez. Yankees on the board. One- nothing. It’s a very high for a catcher. There goes Dominguez. And that one is wrapped into right field. And the diving play by Barger. Tagging and scoring is Chisum. And Dominguez heads back to first. A sack fly for Wells. And the Yankees lead two nothing. Wow. Good solid bat. Ground ball to Jimenez. All right, I’m going to think about the tin man now as we was so impressed last night at Kirk and his ability just balls that he was completely beat on. Little jam league season against the Yankees this year in 11 games hitting 385 with that fly ball to center field. Now he is 0 for two today. Six or seven. You know, Guerrero backs up. He’ll take it himself. Shallow left. Lucas coming on. Now, the hardest thing I’d have to do is convince you to be in the dugout some way. But when you look at that, no throw. Great jump by Aaron Judge. And you know why not with two outs Cody Bellinger and I down to 253 this year. Jazz to second one on to first. Not in time. Let’s see if they could turn two. There’s one. Not in time. Not to happen. Jimenez with a fly ball to left field. Moving toward the line. Dominguez and he’ll put it away for the final lap. But the Blue Jays get a run line right at the third baseman IKF to 76 line drive right at Himenez and the Yankees go down in order. One, two, three and we’re going to go to the fifth. the Met job up to, you know, 1990 as Gisham will run down this fly ball by Springer. If there was a wild card, if I don’t even say hello, you know, it would be a problem. Popped up on the right side. Rice in foul territory makes the play and hook up with a you know I used to enjoy that too because yeah I you don’t talk to the pitchers at the ballpark that much but I I would go over you know how he was thinking about getting hit ground ball third base there’s one onto first not in time he beat it out highf fly ball Gisham grounded and fair just over the bag. Kicks off the sidewall. Dominguez will field. Bett’s going for two and he’s going to make it. And they’re also tough with two strikes. They foul off 25.4% of pitches. Let’s see if that stays in play. And McMahon smoothly makes the play to line drive. It’s a base hit to right field. Bashette Brown’s third. The throw from Bellinger is in time. What a throw by Cody Bellinger for the final out of the inning. Four consecutive lefties for the Yankees well as McMahon, Gisham, and Rice. So runner goes big jump. The throw to second is in time. driven out to right field and deep. Barger on the run and it’s going to be off the wall. Dominguez off to the races. He’ll go to third. Bulpi gets himself a double. Yankees second and third, one man out. Deep drive center field. Bartow back. That’s going to get a run in. He makes the catch. Tagging and scoring is Dominguez. Vulpi moves to third. Another sack fly for Wells as the pitch. Strike three. McMahon down looking, but the Yankees get a run on two hits. IKF will start it off. That’s one racked into left center field. It’s a base hit and it is caught off in the gap by Gisham, but IKF running hard will go to second with a leadoff double. High-fly ball left field. Bellinger makes the catch. Fly ball shallow left moving toward the line. Bellinger. He makes a play. Round number two. Grounded softly to first and Cruz gets out of the jam. Down goes Gisham. One away. So swing and a miss. He is dominating the Yankee lefties. Strike three. Judge down looking. Did not like that call. 3-2 swing and a miss. A hat tip to Mark Jackson. There goes that. Get a good good strike out. Baro highf fly ball center field. Gisham puts it away and keeps Guerrero at first. Two-run lead. Runner at second. Strike three. Lucas down looking. One, two. Strike three. Chisum drops the bat now will pick it up and bangs it on the ground and heads back to the dugout. Godamn it. And he keeps saying ground ball third base. There’s one on to first. Not in time. Tell you what, he’s getting ready to go now. going throw to second goes into center field but Cabayro stays put 43rd stone one two tap right back to Rodriguez and that’ll do it as the Yankees strand a runner at second with counts seven strikeouts IKF down looking I don’t know where the strike zone popped up. Who’s going to get it? The short-handed McMahon. They give it to him. One, two. It’s the rubber game. Kirk goes down on strikes. Bedar with a save. And the Yankees even up this three-game set with a victory. Heel gets the win. And the Yankees played opportunistic baseball and they pulled to within three again of the first place Blue Jays.

  1. Iโ€™m just happy Boโ€™s alright. But John Schneider really butchered a lot in this game. You didnโ€™t put in Davis or Kirk for Gimenez and Tyler when the chances were there to go ahead? Good for you, ya put in Kirk when the game was all but over. Just further proving my theory he takes pleasure in his own humiliation.
