Who is better: Tyrese Maxey or Jalen Williams?

  1. hard to answer. we’ve seen maxey as the number one option at times but never J Will. teams are totally different so kinda weird and difficult to evaluate

  2. I love Maxey and could maybe see the argument that he’s closer to JDub in a vacuum but it’s JDub all the way

  3. Objectively Jalen Williams, but it’s probably closer over a full season than it seems.

Different positions also make it hard to give the trophy to one person.

But at this moment it’s hard to argue against the all star, all nba, nba champion, 2nd option on his team, in his second season.

  4. jDub is a 6’6 point-forward, so he automatically has more defensive versatility and roster flexibility. That said, if you put Maxey on that OKC team, they’re still winning the chip.

But if you put JDub on the 76ers, JDub still experiences these difficulties.

You guys will one day recognize, at some point, that the guard play is the furthest thing from the issue.

  5. Respectfully it’s JDub by a mile. He’s a legit 2 way player, and he is really good at passing which is now Maxeys biggest weakness.

While he can disappear at times offensively, JDub still impacts the game with tough defense, rebounding and hustle.

  6. Take away the fan bias and it’s Williams.

Love Maxey. Would trade him for Williams in a heartbeat

  7. Jalen Williams and it’s not particularly close at the moment. Williams is a freakishly versatile defender. Maxey will have to put up prime Dame numbers to be considered a better all around player than Williams. Not impossible.

  8. Maxey is great. Think he creates value out of necessity, but gets unfairly stretched, due to teammate inconsistency, which may risk his longevity
