Milwaukee Brewers vs Pittsburgh Pirates – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | September 6, 2025 MLB Season
Overlooking the Bill Mazeroski statue. Happy birthday to Maz yesterday. Today the Pirates try to even the series as they play host to the Milwaukee Brewers here at PNC Park. And Mitch Keller, another one of the Pirates main stays. They’ll get the ball tonight. First start in September. As we told you a few minutes ago, the Pirates have not lost back-to-back games since the middle of August. And if they win tonight, that streak will continue. They’ve been playing some really good baseball. 35-19 here. Ball one away to start off Salic. Yeah. Yeah. No. Yell again. Fourth straight game. He’s missed with a back concern. Those can be tricky. Shaking a ball in the left field corner for a guy who can run. Sal Felic has an easy double to start for Milwaukee. Now, this Milwaukee team has been tough on Mitch. They start with one here. Uh-oh. Another little in between ball. A weak tapper. That gets terangic at third, but now with two outs and right to Horowitz. Very nice job. leadoff double squandered. Very nice job by Mitch right there and catches Triolo with a fast ball. That a couple weeks ago on his radio show said part of it is we just want to get looks at other guys and that’s a convenient way to do it. So he’s not committing to it’ll set up Tommy Fam to center. Perkins just onto the track before the final out recorded. So the Pirates and Brewers are scoreless. Oh, nice sweeper right there from Mitch. Just misses the back door two seam. The pitch last Sai Young award winner. Might be two. Things up the inning nicely. Bourbon grounds out to end the second. Freelick has the first out. Run off the barrel just a little bit and then he’s frozen a couple of Pirates on fast balls here in the second. Woodruff again locks up a pirate on a fast ball. Their third strikeout. looking against him tonight. One of them a season high nine, but the Brewers not a team that strike out a ton. So, I’m sure going through some scoreless innings today would be just as good for Mitch Keller. Mix in a wrinkle and he does. Shattered the bat and Triolo makes a fine play on the move on the screen is what he called it. That jibes with what I think too had never had a game with two errors. the gold glover. And it’s a one, two, three inning for Mitch Keller in his playing days. Oh, Henry Davis caught out on that low change up. Was not born in the 1900s, but I was. And I don’t know who I show Speed is in the 1900s. That’s good. I like I show Speed. No, we saw Aussie down at St. Louis. He doesn’t do it anymore, though. The Pirates flammixed by Mr. Woodruff so far. Usually teams that don’t have a discernable weakness do well. And that’s a strikeout. Second one tonight for Keller. Bowers toward the wall and over it on 3 0. Swinging and connecting on the fast ball. And like last night, he puts the Brewers ahead. It’s two nothing Milwaukee. Such a big swing that maybe you miss it. The last thing you wanted to do was not hit it extremely hard. Just out of fam’s reach and Vaughn has a two out twoer for Milwaukee. Three straight two out hits for the Brewers in his last at bat fly out to right to move a runner to third base. Out to Triolo and they’ll get the final out, but the Brewers will take the lead on the home run by Bowers. allowed one base runner has struck out four all looking so far. He struck out five looking four on fast balls. But two very good hitting clubs in in those two groups. All right, [Applause] fam. A deep fly out his first time. And Ortiz will come to get it. And Woodruff in a rocking chair right now. Two nothing Milwaukee. Horwitz has been busy tonight. Yeah, there’s been so many backside balls hit toward first and second base from right-handers. A very nice inning right there from Mitch after getting quick strike in that fourth inning. A nice bounce back. Let’s see if the Pirates bass can get going here. Here’s another one. First strikeout swinging out to left field for Cheurio. Two up and two down in the Pirates fifth. If it looks like a duck. That’s a curveball. And that’s 13 in a row retired by Woodruff. There’s that good sweeper again. [Music] And a strike out to start Nicholas’s night. John Candeleria in the house tonight. He was the last pirate to do that in 77. And Nicholas comes on and strikes out the two men he faces in the seventh. Still two nothing Milwaukee. Longer on Bay Street. There’s another hit for Reynolds. Trying for two. First pirate at second base tonight. A leadoff double for Brian Reynolds on his bobblehead night. Tommy Fam. Reynolds back to tag. Freelick with a good arm though. Wow. I mean, look at that throw. Close play, but Ortiz throws out his old double play partner in New Mexico State. Pops him up. Durban has the final out. So, Zrisnney keeps the Brewers in the lead. Freelick jumps that cutter down the line. and home run. Churio hits his 19th off Cisk. 4 nothing Milwaukee. [Applause] No. Is it in Wisconsin? I don’t really know either. It all I know is it took a long time to get there. [Applause] out to left field and one out. Still trying to will that home run here. He gets his ground ball. Bust your hands and out of the inning. Pirates threaten but do not score in the eighth. It’s still four nothing Milwaukee. Still people wanted to see him pitch. Oh. Oh. Hello. Boy, those are fun. behind the back. The folks here seeing the replay of it, too. Incredible. Pirates have not lost back-to-back games since mid August. Uh-oh. Perkins conventional. All right. had a zero put up in the ninth. That means the Pirates need four in the bottom half coming up. Got him with a curveball. One out. That was that was nasty right there in the air for the notch and will bounce into the seats for an automatic double. That’s a home run in a lot of places. and extends his hitting streak to nine games. Cruz will get the shut out broken up on that 100m hour sinker. And it won’t as Ashby records the final out. And for the first time since mid August, the Pirates have lost in back-to-back games. Brewers are cooling them off yet again. had seven straight Brewers wins over the Pirates.

Go Brewers!!!!
whoever the announcers are they sound straight up drunk. No hype nothing. People find baseball boring as is but guys like this simply don't help.
and… that'll do it for the Pirates who fall for the 7th consecutive time against the Brewers. And they wonder why they draw only 18k on a Saturday night against the best team in both leages. They must be staying home to watch the game on TV with these very exciting announcers.
