   Do you remember that one game late in 2023, the last one we played against the Orioles that year where they walked us off, the umps seemed to favor them on every borderline call, and you knew in your heart we weren’t gonna win the AL East after that game?

   That’s what this felt like. In my heart of hearts I no longer think this team can make the playoffs.

   If Baz has ball one called a strike, Manzardo strikes out and it’s only a 1 run 4th.

   If Fairbanks gets strike 3, he doesn’t give up a run.

   If both happen, we win 2-1.

   Instead, we lose. Robo umps now.

   Have a good night.

22. i wouldnt have put a 2 week old hitter in a high leverage situation just because he swings from the right side. would have a better chance with gray who was hot and even hit a bomb against a lefty the other day.

I know everyone wants to blame Pete, and I get it he’s going through a rough time, its going to happen over a 162 game season, it just sucks that its happening now, and I don’t think he should be closing anymore for the rest of the season, but the offense was atrocious, just absolutely awful baserunning

35. Horrible game. They wore the right jersey for how they played. Was Cash trying hit and runs with Mangum and Diaz? If not, both were really bad calls. Having Palacios batting anything other than 12th was a bad call. Having him at first base was a bad call. Bob should’ve been at first. Having a closer come in without a lead, you guessed it, bad call.
