New York Yankees vs Toronto Blue Jays | Game Highlights (9/6/25)

Luis Heel. This is his seven start. Two in one. 3.68. Let’s do it in the Bronx. First pitch, he jumps on it. Pops it up. McMahon can’t see it. Bulby does. And he trips into foul territory to make the play. Fly ball right field deep going back. Bellinger. He’s there. He makes the play. It was frustrating. And there were a lot of balls that guys were just beat. And here you go again. And another ball beat into left center field by Vlad Guerrero just as they did last night. Two quick outs. And now Guerrero on base into center field. Gisham is there. A much better first inning than yesterday. No runs to hit. One man left. Driven deep to center field. Baro back. Still back. He’s on the track in front of the wall. makes the play for the final out as the Yankees go down in order. That is deep to left field going back. Dominguez and on the track he makes the play swing and a miss. Got him on a slider. First strike out for Heel. Ground ball and off the glove of Guerrero. Off the glove of Jimenez. Bellinger will go to third. Well, they’re going to give an error to Guerrero. So, a field’s choice E3. Yankees are set up. First and third, nobody out. Here’s Dominguez. Runner goes and that is wrapped into right center field. It’s a base hit scoring easily is Bellinger. Jazz Chisum will go to third. An RBI single for Dominguez. Yankees on the board. One- nothing. There goes Dominguez. And that one is wrapped into right field. And the diving play by Barger. Tagging and scoring is Chisum. And Dominguez heads back to first. The sack fry for Wells and the Yankees lead two nothing. Well, good solid bat by Wells. This ball gets by him and the Yankees are really in business, but he got the ball into the outfield. A great play. Let’s see if they could turn two. There’s one. Not in time. Bette scores. Like a little double clutch there by Chisum might have cost him the double play. Gave him the ball early. Yeah, I think he did not find the bag early enough up the middle. Bette the bad throw beating it out as Bellinger allowing McMahon to score and the Yankees lead 3-1. Well, Guerrero is insisting that he got him on the way by. So, I’m sure we’re going to take a look at this. Let’s see if it does clip the heel. After review, the call in the field is overturned. The runner is out. run over Daniel. So they take the run off the board and out of Bellinger and it’s still 2-1 as we go to the six. Grounded and fair just over the bag. Kicks off the sidewall. Dominguez will field. Bette’s going for two and he’s going to make it. Line drive. It’s a base hit to right field. Michelle Brown’s third. The throw from Bellinger is in time. What a throw by Cody Bellinger for the final out of the inning. Wow, what a great play. He got a good skip off the wet grass and just right on the money. Bette is a good base runner, too. But everything done just perfectly. And watch this ball just take off when it hits the grass. Right to Wells. Right on the money. Huge play. in a two to one game. The pitch to Chisum is looped over the head of Bashette. A base hit to start off the bottom of the six inning. Big turn by Chisum, but he’ll scurry back. Runner goes big jump. The throw to second is in time. The throw was on the second base side, which is what they aim for, and he tagged him. Chisum thinks he’s safe. [Music] He’s not. 3-2 and a walk to Dominguez moving out to right field and deep. Barger on the run and it’s going to be off the wall. Dominguez off to the races. He’ll go to third. Vulpi gets himself a double. Yankees second and third, one man out. Deep drive center field. Baro back. That’s going to get a run in. He makes the catch. Tagging and scoring is Dominguez. Bulby moves the third. Another sack fly for Wells is 11th of the year. That leads the majors and the Yankees lead 3-1. Allowed a run in two straight games. IKF will start it off. That’s whacked into left center field. It’s a base hit and it is caught off in the gap by Gisham, but IKF running hard will go to second with a leadoff double. By ball, shallow look moving toward the line. Bellinger. He makes the play. Round number two. So they bring in Fernando Cruz to face Springer who’s having a great year. 27 home runs, 72 ribbies. Those are the numbers for Cruz. Grounded softly to first. And Cruz gets out of the jam and the pitch up the middle. Will it squeeze through? It’s grabbed by Chisum. Throw to first. Not in time. Infield single for Guerrero. 3-2. Swing and a miss. David Bedar threw 33 pitches on Thursday. Didn’t pitch last night. And now the Yankees want him to get four outs. Two balls, two strikes, two outs. Two-run lead. Runner at second. Strike three. Lucas down looking. Cruz is pumped up. The crowd is pumped up. And Bednar gets a favorable call from Allan Porter. Cruz loving it. One, two, strike three. Chism drops the bat. Now we’ll pick it up and bangs it on the ground and heads back to the dugout. Godamn it. And he keeps saying low to Alan Porter. Gives him some leeway and doesn’t quickly throw him out. [Music] You know, that’s the way it should be right there. I mean, Jazz is showing his emotion. Porter didn’t say a word. Didn’t throw him out. Ball clearly below the strike zone. One, two, [Music] seven strikeouts. IKF now looking. Yeah, I don’t know where the strike zone is at this point. There was a pitch earlier in the count that was right there and then then this ball’s away and you know that’s what’s frustrating. But you see the movement of Wells bringing this ball back to the strike zone. Popped up. Who’s going to get it? The shorthanded McMahon. They give it to him. Yankees needs the rubber game. One, two. It’s the rubber game. Kirk goes down on strike. Bedar with a save. And the Yankees even up this threeame set with a victory. Heel gets the win. And the Yankees played opportunistic baseball and they pulled to within three again of the first place Blue Jays. [Music] [Applause] [Music]

  1. I was hoping for at least a 7-5 record against Houston, Toronto, and Boston. We're looking pretty good to do better! Keep it going, boys! Let's go, Yankees!!

  2. If y’all don’t think these umps was keeping Yankee bats in check this whole season… I got a bridge to sell you… Yankee batters gotta do a better job of not letting it get to them. Don’t look. Like Ken Singleton use to say.. eyes forward say “He doesn’t need any help” or my favorite “Make sure it goes both ways”

  3. Now Boone moves Weaver to the 7th inning relief. From starting the season as a closer. Now he is getting touched up a bit. He is playing games with Weaver's head. His inconsistency are costing them games. Once again, I believe The Yankees will not succeed with Boone as the manager.

Jazz needs to take a step back. Last year, he was so excited to be with the Yankees. He played with passion & he was having fun. This year, even though he is having fun, his passion at times is showing to be arrogant. He is a decent player and not a superstar. He should be acting accordingly.

    Lets Go Yankees

  4. The Yankees are chumps. Cucks. They let that "one guy" on each team beat them like a drum. In their own house! Vlad should have been eating dirt after a fastball under the chin LONG ago. The guy is snapping his fingers in you face, turning his back and strutting away. Fastball. Under chin. Now.

  5. This is the best Yankee site on YouTube. I mean there are a few really good ones but, actually watching the key moments put together and getting a chance to watch ( for those of us out of state and without access to YES) the game action, I love this podcast. Thank you. Also love the song at the end when you show the stats and box. A forever watcher, thank you again.

  6. Stealing strikes should be illegal. It’s cheating to turn a ball into a strike. Plus the umps have enough problems seeing properly. Of course, baseball lost its integrity decades ago.

  7. Gil now 3-1 3.31 ERA. 😤 Despite the walks this was his best outing since coming back from injury Last 6 outings an ERA of 2. This was against the best lineup he's faced up to this point. Also against 2 playoff teams TOR and BOS he's only giving up 3R total. Impressive.

Bronx Bombers going for the series win tomorrow with Maximus Prime on the hill. LET'S GO!!!! GO YANKEES!!!!#CHASEFOR28

  8. jazz needs to stop acting like a child!!!! we got a missed call to go our way and the very next half inning the jays get one to go their way and hes acting like a fucking 2 year old……
