The Colts will be drafting a rookie QB in the top 5 of April's draft. You're in for a long tough season Colts fans. At least in pro basketball the Indiana Pacers made an appearance to the NBA finals and pushed it to game 7. 🤷🏿‍♂️

  1. Unpopular opinion maybe, but as long as she is just listening and not giving calls or feedback live this is a good thing. An owner should familiarize themselves with the ins and outs of the game day operation. Rather this than an owner that doesn’t give two shits about the product.

  2. I think because her Dad was Jim Irsay, she grew up with a father figure who fucked around and now she’s got serious trust issues. Because we all know we perform better when our boss is hovering over us and listening to everything we do.

  3. Meirl… I can’t imagine letting one guy I barely know say, I’m hiring my cousin, he’s the best, I’ll pay him $500k.

  4. Nothing wrong with this imo. She’s just understanding more about the business she owns. She’s not calling plays or inputting feedback, she’s checking the competency levels of her current staff to see which should keep their jobs

  5. I hope this last all season and they mic her up . I can’t wait till she gets in someone’s face , whether it’s some old school coach with a dip a raging lineman not trying to hear that shit . Gonna be cinema. Or even better she gets a penalty for going after a ref for a bad call.

  6. You can’t blame someone who is an owner and wants to learn about the game. She is a woman and likely never got to play football. Learning the complexity and intricacies of the game as a new owner is a good thing… obviously if she’s inserting herself or getting in the way that’s totally different. But just learning should not be frowned upon

  7. Trying to learn and getting a better handle on what your team is doing is now considered a bad thing ok got it

  8. This is equivalent to a young captain who’s put in charge of a section in the Air Force. They probably have her listening to a “pipe in” channel and gave her a dummy call sheet.

  9. If I need to know who to fire after another losing season, then this is the absolute best way to figure it out. Imagine if she hears a bunch of confusion on playcalling during a two minute drill. You don’t think that is relevant to knowing who responsible?

  10. If this person sticks her nose everywhere it doesn’t belong, the Colts will be in for a tough decade of misery.

  11. I would eager that most NFL owners were “trust fund babies” if that’s the term you’re using for coming from a rich family. But it’s just now a problem!?!

  12. She’s seen AR and Jones play Quarterback. She’s seriously questioning her coach and GM and how good they are.
    I mean who isn’t

  13. This is good, and you’re a moron if you think differently. She’s learning about the thing she owns, you’re probably just 13 years old.

  14. They have been doing really well these past 10 years, I’m surprised to see that she feels the need to get so involved.

  15. While I don’t think her listening in on the sideline communications is bad at all, that quote is terrible. Why not just say “I’m here to learn the ins and outs of game day, so that I can one day help recognize opportunities to support our operations”.
