What I like is the winning.
Win, lose, or draw. I’ll say this. I really enjoyed watching this game
Defense came up when it mattered, but this is the weakest this unit’s looked in a while. Injuries didn’t help. Still early in the season, lots of time to get right and figure shit out.
Offense though, wow that’s a breath of fresh air. Smith was (mostly) great. Rodgers was incredible. Boz is still the best damn kicker in the league. Line and run game are a bit of a concern, but 34 points is 34 points.

Despite 98% of the defense being unwatchable dogshit all game, Austin deserves some credit for the last two plays. Sends the house on the penultimate play, then drops 8 the very next go. Kept them off kilter when the game got the tightest.
Very impressed with Rodgers *and* Fields this game. Great game, so glad we came out on top.

Well, the good news is Rodgers looks like he still has gas left in the tank. The bad news is that isn’t going to matter if our defense is giving up 400+ yards and 30+ points a game. And if our O-line can’t get their shit together, feels like it’s only a matter of time before Rodgers takes a bad sack and goes down.
Happy to get the win but we really need to work out our shit if we wanna have a chance this season.
Offense was much better than I expected, but the defense was much much worse. We really need to improve on the defensive side of the ball if we’re going to succeed this year.

Not taking away from this win. I think this Jets team is better than some realize. BUT, the second we play against a team with a good o-line and a SUPERSTAR running back, we are going to allow 250 and 4+ rushing TD unless our D can get their shit together.
