  1. Dropping two games to this Nats team is fucking pitiful doesn’t matter how you want to spin it.

  2. Sit Danny for a few games. See if we can get Hodge some confidence in 8th innings or something

  3. Big day for people who don’t comment unless something bad is happening.

Not too happy that Danny P robbed us of a second Carson Kelly Game for the week.

  4. Counsell should be ashamed of himself for not taking Daniel out sooner. His velo was lower FFS! Dumb fuck.

  5. This loss is on whoever decided to take out Keller after the 8th inning. If we kept him on for the 9th inning we win this ballgame. I don’t get why we take him out after only one inning when he pitched a really good inning aswell. Keep him in when he has the momentum.

  6. Man, I don’t get this team’s strategy at all. Make a big trade for Tucker, which to me sounds like win now, then don’t go and get the pieces you need to win now at the deadline. You keep all your prospects, give them brief looks then put a bunch of washed vets out there to get reps instead of the prospects. So you hung on to these young guys for what? Because you think you won’t resign the guy you actually did trade assets for? The fuck?

  7. At this point, I’m okay with a wild card. I like our chances of making it to the NLDS and at that point it’s just whoever is hot, and I just want to get in. If that happens, and it most likely will, then we got a shot.

  8. I just dint understand why Palencia keeps getting these 9th innings. He’s clearly been struggling mightily for a month now. Has Craig just not noticed??

  9. would’ve preferred an unimpressive win over a ugly loss… my sunday is ruined 🙁

  10. For reference they are 5-7 in their last 12 where all these teams at the time of play them were below .500. 8-7 if we include the Angels series. Easy part of the schedule my ass. They have been nothing but a .500 team for months folks

  11. *^(don’t want to say they’re cooked. don’t want to say they’re cooked. don’t want to say they’re cooked.)*

  12. Hopefully we don’t see juggernauts like The Giants and Nationals in the playoffs

  13. Been saying all year Palencia got lucky a lot. His advanced stats show it. He cannot be our postseason closer.

With that said, the offense has to do better. Too many games we’ve scored 3 runs or fewer since June 1st
