I swear we have about 100 strikeouts on that exact pitch with the bases loaded this year
Really vinnie
I’m not going to sugarcoat that last AB. That might be a top 5 worst approach/AB I’ve ever seen. I might be exaggerating a bit but I don’t know lol
Bad things happen when you try to play hero ball vs just letting it happen
### Pitching Substitution
Pitching Change: Justin Topa replaces Kody Funderburk.
I was getting my car oil changed what did ISBEL do
Salvy 0-3, 2K and gdp. I’m guessing he’s not going to see anything straight
Ffs Perez
That was rough
Welllll 2-3 isn’t so bad. Gotta put on our big boy pants against Cleveland and the Phillies.
All the team’s struggles in a nutshell. We pick up a run if Isbel doesn’t get picked off, and more if Vinnie doesn’t press at the plate with runners on.
### Pitching Substitution
Pitching Change: Luinder Avila replaces Sam Long.
Damn baseball is rough sometimes
Someone smarter than me find out if we still only have 1 XBH with the bases loaded this year. Im pretty sure its still right.
Man if only Q didn’t have such a weird lineup, the permanent 3 and 4 hitters might have driven in runs with <2 outs and the bases loaded! Why would Luke Maile allow this?
I’m really liking Avila’s mound presence / demeanor. It’s been a long time and I was trying to find some old videos but I think Avila reminds me a bit of Arthur Rhodes. Not his mechanics but the way he conducts himself.
Avila has looked really good in the action he’s had.
When Steven Cruz and Dylan Coleman sleep at night they dream of becoming Luisander Avila
I like Massey
J.A.C. Cags. Get in the game.
Jac fighting that thing😭
J.A.C. Cags. He’s on the base.
What an AB from Cags
That’s a big leagues AB by Cags
He EARNED that walk
I’m not trying to be too dramatic but that was Caglianone’s best AB of his career.
### Pitching Substitution
Pitching Change: Génesis Cabrera replaces Justin Topa.
PH BWJ here
🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
Dang this bottom of the 9th has lasted for like 30 minutes good on the boys for not just giving up and waving the white flag
Come on you beautiful bastard
Doggone it.
Yaz having to bat against a lefty was not ideal.
Players showed resilience was nice, Jensen and Caglianone with awesome at bats
