Philadelphia Phillies vs Miami Marlins – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | September 7, 2025 MLB Season

It was a little soggy outside this morning here in Miami, but the skies have opened up. Sunshine here in South Florida on this Sunday at Lone Depot Park as the Marlins and the Phillies tangle on FanDuel Sports Network brought to you by F. Now Harrison Bader today. Nick Castanos makes his first start of the series in the first pitch of the ball game. In eventful fashion, Trey Turner loses his bat and it’s nothing at one. works off of the first base side of the rubber out of the lineup. He kicks and fires the 2-2 and that got him. Good sinker. One up and one down. He’s having a great season. Might be your AL MVP. And Schwarber gets under this sinker and he lifted into shallow left for Ariberto Hernandez. And I would say that that was left on the table. That might be an option. Schwarber in the air to right off the end of the bat. Victor Mesa Jr.’s got it in a perfect first inning for Tyler Phillips. He had a 319 RA in his first eight starts back in, but he’s gotten hit around his last two starts against the Mets and the Brewers. Pitch Slider appeared to miss off the outside part of the plate. Runners go throw down to third, not in time. It’s a perfectly executed double steel by Miami. Boy, that was that was beauty. Beautiful to watch. Look, a little shuffle step by Marcy and then following him. Hut came into the booth this morning and said, “I just got a good feeling today.” Lopez in the air deep to left field. Three nothing Miami. Go ahead. You can say it. You can say it. Good. AB’s jumping on the veteran Taiwan Walker. No problem for Otto Lopez. Number 13 on the year. the two- two pitches back up the middle and a base hit into center field. Here comes Hernandez. He’ll score without a problem. Standing up now. The ball gets away. Walker wasn’t backing up the plate. Both base runners will advance third. A Costa’s at second. Mesa Junior’s at first and he popped them up. Harper’s coming in. Marlins are going to leave him loaded, but the damage is done. They get four here in the bottom of the first with Tyler. that I did. On a line to center field, sinking away from Marcy. He dives and it gets by him and it goes all the way to the wall. Marsh is going to score from first. Castanos is on his way to third. He slides in safely again. The infield back. They play him to pull and the pitch is swung on and missed. Yes, he missed it. He did get a piece of it. Hicks Will Castanos back at third to complete the strike out at first. For the most part, a day in dayout guy. Up the middle. Phillips has got it nicely done. Philly’s going to run. That’s all here in the second. Might just call upon Paul Skins if he’s available. Hicks lifts this in the air to shallow left. Playable for Kepler. No runs ahead. One man left on here in the second for Miami. Trey Turner struck out swinging in the first. He’s ahead of the count. Two and one and he chops that towards third. Fair ball for a Costa. Oo, nice play by Johnson at the bag at first. That was a high throw. Saw the numbers there for Kate Gibson as the 1-1 pitch. The Schwarberers lifted in the air to right center field. Victor Mesa Jr.’s got it lined up. Three pitches in it out for Gibson and the inning is over. Velocity is more important than the other stuff. Right. Slow roller pass Walker out to short and Turner fires it to first just in time to get Berto. Cuban outfielder, 22nd ranked prospect, yanks one to first, right to Bryce Harper, hitting over as we go to the fourth. No activity in the Marlins bullpen as Harper lines one out towards right center field for a base hit. Mason Junior’s got it. Harper’s on his way to second and the throw is air mail. No walks. Couple of strikeouts out toward Shortstop. Lopez has got Harper hung up. Nicely done. Harper being very aggressive. Very, very aggressive. Four run, seven hits for the Marlins. One, two is high. Throw back down to first. Did they get him? Yes. Ah, what a nice play. And it’s a combo play between the catcher and the first baseman here in the fourth has nearly gotten Kate Gibson out of this inning. And now they say Castanos went around and he did. He’s not happy. The inning is over and the Phillies come up empty. Now get Walker stretched a little bit so he doesn’t have to dip into the pen. This is chopped softly towards third. Bows got it. He fires on the run in time. Perfect. Quick and easy fourth for Walker. Got the final out of the third. Worked around the lead off Dublin and some shotty base running from the Phillies in the fourth. This is chopped softly right side. They’re hollering at Gibson to get over. He does. That’s very nice play. I think he thought round it out towards shortstop. Lopez quick trigger to first inning over. Nicely done. A perfect fifth for Cade. Liam Hicks sends one in the air to right center field. Pretty deep. Marsh is going back on the track. He reels it in. He hit 34 home runs last year. He hit 30 the year before. So he’s been around and that’s a really quick and easy fifth inning for Walker. [Applause] 3-2 coming from Fosch to Turner to start the inning. And Turner gets underneath one and he sends it to left field and deep. Trey Turner has gone deep to make it four to two here in the sixth. Hernandez got back there but he ran out of room. A number 15 for Trey Turner. Now 13 of his 15 home runs this season have come on the road. Now the one two hit left side that’ll sneak through for a base hit. It’ll also make it four to three as Schwarber scores from second. Sudden it’s a four to three game and Castanos sends one to shallow center. Marcy started back comes in makes the catch with two more for the Phillies here in the six. Now it’s four to three. And there goes Troy. The pitch is taken for a strike and the throw to second base is not in time. One ball, no strikes on X. He’s 0 for three today. They make it 0 for four. He will. The pitch is grounded to short. Otto’s got it. Oh, it got by Johnston. Awful throw by Lopez. Everybody is safe and stop will go to third. And now the 3-2 popped him up in left. Hernandez is there. Inning over. Two for three. Three-run homer and a single. And he flies this to left center field. This is crushed. It is way back there and gone. It’s a two-run home run type of day for Otto Lopez. So 5-3 fish. Hicks was hit by the pitch. Hernandez pops this up out near second. Bryson is there. Inning over. Marlins get another. They lead by two as we go to the eighth. Having to go in the dugout, sit down and go back out. Swinging a miss. Got him with a slider. 17 pitches deep as Enriquez here. This is carved in the air down the left field line in trouble. A base hit for Marsh and then some. Wants a double. He’s got a double. Oh, two. Got him. He pulled the string on Castanos to punch him out. 3-1 coming is grounded to the left side. And that is an unproductive outing. Another 3-2 gets away, but that’s ball four. Now the bases are loaded. 22 coming and Marcy swings and misses and he lost his bat. Strike three to the National League West. Phillies are his third team this year. And his one-two Ramirez got him with a cutter. Hitting over. Marlins leave him loaded. They lead by two as we go to the ninth. Very careful they don’t try to go. They don’t. And here’s a bunt in the air. A Costa’s on the run. He’s got it with a slide on the track in front of the dugout now. One, two. That’s hit to the right side. Wagman’s got it down to second. Lopez can’t squeeze it. Diving back in safely is Kepler. Dixon fires the 3-2 pitch. That is lined into right field for a base hit. Wr to get it. One run will score. D JT Realm Muto falls on the bag at third as Kepler scores from second. Tying run is at third. It’s nothing and one. A perfectly executed sweeper. That’s a good back door sweeper there. Count nothing and one. Here comes the pitch. [Applause] One, two. Grounded to second base. Throw to first. Ball game over. Blake Bcker bends but he doesn’t break here in the ninth.
