A’s vs. Angels Game Highlights (9/7/25) | MLB Highlights
It is certainly a beautiful day for baseball in the month of September. It’s a baseball month. Everybody knows that here at Angel Stadium today, it’s the finale of a three game series between the Sacramento Athletics and the los Angeles Angels on the mound for the Halos A 1 to 0 record a 1.80 a making his second major league start his first here at the big a left hander Mitch Ferris and that will be the second out and at third, here’s one lifted in the air to left center and going back a few feet to make the grab on. That one is Bryce to do and it’s a quick clean inning for the lefty Mitch Ferris Severino attacking early, saw him do against ST Louis fresh off the injured list. We talked about picking up right where he left off. Ages struck out Trout to start off his outing. That is the 14th hitter that Severino has hit this year. You are gone. Joe Adle who’s been swinging a hot bat will be the next batter Ham’s his sixth home run off from this year. And number 30 five for Joe Adell 94 RBIs crushed that sinker. Another fastball destroy 108 off the bat for Joe Adell who says hello to the athletics again. He is on the heater right now as well. Ricky ball swung on and missed. So that’s it for Taylor in the Angels. But joe Adell should the halos in front 2 to 0 after one. Here’s Logan 02, 1919 Homers breaking ball Hammer to center Butler on his horse still going back and he just pulled that out of thin air. That ball was absolutely drilled. And you were wondering if this had a chance off the bat to stay in the ballpark guys down a bit , but it was on a line and on a run was the long dog and robbery ensues loves every bit of it. He knew that could have been extra bases. No problem. Tremendous play by Butler who has done a marvelous job in place of Denzel Clark Harris will lead things off against left hander. Mitch Faris. Here’s a ground ball Taylor with a sliding stops to his first to the glove side on the slide, quickly gets up, gets the first out anywhere you put him. Taylor will play solid defense, a solid player all around Taylor , such a veteran presence and a lot of flexibility where you can place here’s will mcivor the catcher club to left center Teodosio on the run. He’s still going. It carries out of here reroute. So Mor’s third home run in the big leagues is a laser shot to left center. It’s a 2 to 1 game that was a fastball slightly elevated and Mac put a charge into it. You have to touch the base. It faces Kurtz again in the third and that’s a wave and a miss and down on strikes goes Kurtz. Great sequence there. Mike Trout who’s leading off today will be the next batter goes right to Trout. Dallas got it. He did it, he did it. There we go. That’s why, that’s right. That’s what we’re here for. That’s why you came game. Who wants it? You want it? Who wants it? You grab it. No, I was giving it to the fan. The guy wanted the ball. I knocked over my phone, there’s papers everywhere. It was right in my face and you protected me. I got you do. It was not hit softly field, it’s chasing but he won’t get there extra bases for mike Trout as he lasers one to left center for a double good swing there for Trout. So two outs, here’s joe Adle, the right fielder swung on, bounced up one up to the third baseman Harris will take a step on the bag and the inning is over. So five unassisted no runs won it. Angels up 21, couple runners on with two outs here in the bottom of the fourth inning. Theodosios gone one for seven in this series. Punches one toward the right field line. It’s falling. It is, and it bounces out of play but it scores a run. Taylor comes in and Teodosio with an RB I double makes it 3 to 1. His seventh double of the season, it’s swing there. But down, he got that sinker and punched it down the right field line. RB. I, his fourth is making contact , the more contact he makes the more pressure he’ll put on the defense. Now, Trout, at that last swing, Trout had a double that swung on him as he struck him out, get him on the fastball 97 miles an hour. And for Severino, that is his sixth strikeout. Three strikeouts for Faris in his four innings, a lot of strikes, 52 pitches, 39 strikes swinging to miss strike three. There was that slider to get the real good ones that sequence a couple early and Then finished him with one twice as punched him out the second out. This is hit in the air shallow right towards the line. Adle chasing under, waiting to make the catch. And that is how the inning inning for Farris. It’s Fergie Tyler Ferguson 48 appearance for the right hander retired and Taylor remains at first base. One go will be the next batter is Taylor going to be on the move at three and two. Yes, he will go. And it’s a line drive by Harris on the jump. He’ll throw over to first. It’s a double play to end the inning pays to be living right. Mitch Farris working into the seventh year Harris will pay Soderstrom wilson and get off. He’s retired the last eight. He has faced hammered to left field ward on the run. Still going opposite field homer for Soderstrom. It’s a 3 to 2 game 209 stand up just continues to Hammer the baseball and the Angels are going to go to the bullpen now so far will leave Garcia has been warming up the wall two strikes on Wilson. What happened here? Wilson was getting ready for his next pitch and kind of waving the bat around. I think he hit a Hopi in the mask and he’s had some problems with that great with the mask on the back. Swing is almost never on the on the just Wilson waving his bat around before the next pitch. You know, Hoppy tends to sit pretty deep in the batter’s box , right, kind of an upper cut, some problems with some foul balls. Words, it’s been tough for him. He’s going to come back, swing from Jacob Wilson but not even on a swing on a pitch, just kind of waving his bat around. Now, he’s going to have to leave this game. Travis Darone will go behind the plate first and second one out and here is Brett Harris the third baseman, but Carlos Cortez is going to come off the bench and hit for Harris ground ball to second base. Taylor has shovels to second one still to throw by. Here’s Kurtz and he’s zero for three drive to right center that will drop down for a hit. Teodosio plays on a hop and a jump throw back in to keep it at a one out single, a 3 to 2 single against the South. Paul Kurtz gets his first hit of the game 0 to 2 pitch bouncing ball the other way Taylor dives and gets through for a hit. Kurtz going to take a turn around second and head for third perfectly placed by Rooker on the corners with Thomas coming up, gets him in the air to center Teodosio going back. He’s still going on the track at the wall and makes the catch that will bring the tying run. Rooker tags up to second. It’s a 3 to 3 game as Kobe Thomas does his job and drives home his 18th run of the season. Travis Darna will be the batter. Angels have the go ahead run at second one out here. Runners at 1st and 2nd. The Rangers take the lead as Taylor scores. It’s 43 and from travis D, Travis G first at bat and crush it the right center field. Go ahead, double, stayed with that slider all the way through and he tracked it well to carry. Talk about athletics have made a lot of really good plays in the outfield, but unable to run that one down. The Angels put Kenley Jansen into the game here to be the closer. That was certainly an expected move. 25 saves, Jansen has been outstanding in this role this season. One more out to go to the left field line. Taylor Ward can get there in foul ground. He makes the catch, say good night to the A’s the Angels hold off the sweep as they rally late to get the go ahead run and they beat the A’s four to three. Wasn’t easy, that’s for sure.

Good job halos!
Joe Adell is having one helluva season
LETS GO HALOS!!!!
Are the A's actively trying to hurt the Angels players?
The hitless wonders do enough to win. What is Trout doing out there?
