MLB Highlights | Blue Jays vs. Yankees – September 7, 2025

George Springer leading it off again this afternoon and is swinging at the first pitch and he pops it up in foul territory and there is room for the catch to be made by Ryan McMahon. But now he gets him to chase a ball outside and strikes him out. Two down, two outs. Here’s Vladimir Guerrero Jr. who will hit a curve ball out to short. Anthony Bulpie is up with it and Max Freed makes quick work of the Blue Jays in the top of the first. This is popped up wide of third. Kiner FPA settling underneath it and he makes the catch. And it’s another day where the sky could be a little bit tricky. Well hit ball deep right field and the Yankees lead three to nothing. [Applause] Well, that’s a tremendous attack by Ben Rice. He saw everything that Max Scherzer had to offer. just can foul him off and eventually get one he could handle. A couple tough pitches, but this one was right down Broadway. John Carlo Stan saying ball in two strikes to count on Clement and he sends this one down the right field line and it’s going to get down. Remember Judge not throwing well although he gets this one in much quicker but safe as second is Clement and he hits one in the hole and into left a base hit. Kirk in to score. Clement is held at third and Kinder Fo with an RBI single to get the Blue Jays their first run of the afternoon. Fly ball to right field. Judge setting up. Clement going back to tag. Here’s the catch. And the throw just kind of soft tossed into Chisum at second. And scoring easily is Clement. I just wonder if Judge felt the impact of that throw on Clement second. Swinging a miss. Got him with a fast ball for out number two. I mean, it’s still full and it can still get noisy. And that strike three called. Then what an assist there to Alejandro Kirk on that one. Line to left headed to the corner and in there. Springer is in to score. Schneider will be held. It’s an RBI double for Guerrero to tie the game again. The 2-2. He got it. That ball in and out of the mid of Kirk. So he’ll throw it down first to complete the out. That’s a strike out and the third in a row for Max Scherzer. Field was side originally with the Cubs, but he can opt out. There goes Judge. Kirk’s throw is not in time. Judge with his second stolen base of the series. Fly ball to right center field and it’s off the wall. Straw’s got it. Will play it back into the infield, but Bellinger into second. with an RBI double and the Yankees regain the lead and the two- two pitch. Swinging a miss. He got him for his fourth strike out of the afternoon. The Yankees though do get a run as Bellager cashes in Judge. And that’s strike three called. He was sitting on something else. Took a fast ball that got a lot of the play. Two down. There goes Chisum. The throw down by Kirk. The tag not in time. He got it. He strikes out three in a row to Strand Chisum out at second and hits a chopper to third here to second. One to first for two. [Applause] curve ball and it’s a beauty. Can’t throw it better than that. Three up, three down go the Blue Jays in the top of the sixth as a lefty out of the bullpen. He got it. What a job by Ryan Baraki. [Music] Strike three called another curveball. Braden Fiser just struck out the side. Bargers running and the throw down is not in time. Addison Barger steals second. There goes Lucas. It’s a swing and a miss by Straw and Lucas is out at second and the pitch. Ground ball weekly hit towards third. McMahon in time and the Yankees win it and take two out of three from the Blue Jays. [Music]

  1. Lmao and now you are going to lose the division, good luck if your banking on Max giving you any type of quality start, again not enough slug on this roster, wildcard against the M’s would be fun right?
